The answer is a long one.
God created Adam and Eve. They were given the beautiful paradise Eden in which they could eat from any and all tree except two. The tree of Life and the tree of knowledge. There was no sin and hence no suffering in the garden of Eden.
But Adam chose to disobey God and ate from the apple of knowledge. Thus sin entered the world. And with sin came the curse upon man and the earth. Suffering in this world , degeneration, sickness... everything bad you can imagine came from this sin.
Mutations are what cause our DNA to change. Our DNA loses information and this can cause many illnesses and defects. When people whom are closely related marry, the chance is much bigger for these defections to become visible in their child.
God made man perfect in his image. Our DNA were perfect, without blemish. Adam and Eve's children could safely produce offspring because the bad effects of genetic mutations didn't have much time to assimilate. Only later in the bible, after many generations, did God forbid close relatives to produce offspring.

reliable question. each and each start became of twins. Cain and in a position each and each had a twin sister. Cain's specified sister turned right into a canines and in a position's sister turned right into a babe. you should no longer marry your own twin. that is the numerous reason behind the first death in the international. you could pass to Damascus and absolutely see the spot the position Cain killed in a position - it really is an awesome position. The mountain cave is declared to were created at the same time as the mountain gasped on the first homicide ever commited in the international. The cave has a mouth and tongue it really is particularly obviously seen. there is also a hand imprint on the genuine of the mouth (cave) the position angel Gabriel held the mouth open and kept it from crushing Cain. The mouth (cave) is surrounded by clean water springs - yet until eventually this present day the interior the mouth drips salty water - tears. I youngster you no longer. pass see for your self. As others had said so, no all the people created appears on the bible, first of all because the bible is no an historical book, its a book of moral teaching, so, if there was no teaching on showing all the people that was created besides Adam and Eve, or cain and abel, why to put them on the bible?
And, as you see angels came down of heaven and have childrens with human girls, :P, so, giants and weird giant people, like amalek was born.

Of COURSE Adam & Eve had other kids and they intermarried. There would have been no sin involved, due to the fact that 1) The Law wasnt given in any form & 2) Adam & Eve were perfect, so the genetic code had'nt been corrupted yet. It would probably be quite awhile before it started effecting the Human Race. And NO thats not weasling out of a problem, God doesnt tell us things we dont need to know...theBerean

I asked this same question last year.... They weren't the only ones on earth. If you read on, you'll see that one of the sons went off and married from another village. And like someone said earlier, not everyone was named in the bible and they did have more kids. Think about how old they were when they died. And LOL@ apes, that's so mean!

If God could create Adam and Eve... why couldn't he also create others?
There's references in the Bible about the descendants of Adam intermarrying with some other group.... There is no reference to where that group came from.
The genesis account is not to be taken 100% literally either. A day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day to God. (don't ask me for chapter and verse... its in there somewhere) Essentially, God is timeless. Before Man, there was no method to record the passage of time. Therefore that first "day" in Genesis could have been 500,000,000,000 years according to modern time references. It could also have been 5 milliseconds.

Chances are you are an evolutionist. You do realize that evolutionists have traced all mankind back to the same mother. Genetically. If that is plausible then the beginning of the gene pool was not as murky as it is today. The probability that siblings strike a bad gene match when mated are exponentially more probable today then with the first 'batch' so to speak.

in genesis what does it say God created on the sixth day? Then God rested on the seventh "day". Then after He rested he created adam and eve. The days stated in genesis are actually one thousand year periods. heres more proof . cain told God that he was afraid to leave eden because he said that everone he ran into would want to kill him. It also says he went to the land of Nod and took a wife.

I just recently read in the "new revised standard verson" bible that god created humankind as a whole, and then the story of adam and eve came about. It would certainly explain the mysterious and sudden appearance of cain's wives.
Btw, they had three sons. cain, abel, and seth.
