I see alot of emails saying to 'support the troops' but seems like few really think about what that means. So, if you say it then you're not a traitor, as if that's what qualifies.
But then isn't one really supporting war? What about christians and what they feel? Didn't it say at Matthew 26:52: "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." It seems amazing to me that some who support the troops seem to forget certain principles in the bible. Isn't that the key?
I see some say it's not the troops fault, that they have orders to follow. Couldn't we fairly say they made a conscious decision to sign up in the first place? As Galatians 6:5 says: "for each one shall carry his own load."

Acts 5:1-4
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

So with that said, why wouldn't you believe in the trinity?

Jesus ascribed Deity to Himself in scripture as well (John 8:58)(John 10:30)...clearly making Him God in the flesh.

This question is basically for Watchtower Witnesess and anyone else who denies the 3 in 1.

I'm just looking back at some of the answers I've given to questions pertaining to the Roman Catholic church (which I grew up in) and realizing just how Catholic I sound when I answer them.

So is this proof that you can take the boy outta the Catholic but you can never take the Catholic outta the boy?

means from the Bible and we explain it, non-believers can't hit the "thumbs down" button fast enough? You may choose not to believe the answer but that doesn't mean it is wrong. The answers we give are found in the Bible so from that stand point we have given the correct answer.
(For those who say this isn't a question, but a statement, look closly at the sentence ending in the question mark)

I don't usually quote TV programs but one question was posed that everyone should think about.

If there is a God and you are a religious person, what have you lost out on by worshipping him and attending church?

Now, what will you lose if you don't believe there is a God and it turns out you were wrong?

My boyfriend and I have been together 1 and a half years and I love him with all my heart. We are great together, completely in love and care so much for each other. Everything is great besides the fact that our religeous differences are going to tear us apart. He is an active christian, going to church ever sunday, plans to start going every wednesday and friday too to be a youth leader. I am not sure what I am, I believe in god, I believe I am doing right by him, I pray for help and guidence and thanks, I guess I just don't like the social aspect of religion. I would rather just continue what I am doing and not goto church on sunday. And I don't mind that he goes on sunday, but he minds that I don't/ I also would be quite uncomfortable with him being so involved in the church if he decides to do the wednesday, friday thing. Please is there anyone who made it through similar differences? How? What can I do, any advice is very appreciated, I don't want to lose what we have.

About once or twice a year I will buy a cd of an upcoming Christian artist... examples in the past are Bethany Dillion, Kristy Starling, Stacie Orrico and Adie Camp (Jeremy Camp's wife).

Does anybody recommend any new comers or people "i must give a listen to"??
thanks!:)

BTW, my faves have always been Jennifer Knapp and Nichole Nordeman

ie if guys have lustful thoughts over a girl.

That girl has power over them as those guys will try and impress her.

Say with gifts, money, doing what she wants.

the more lustful she can make guys over her, the more power.

Hence advertising with girls using sexaulity to control guys into boyin gthings and getting a big commssion out of it.

Likewise lust and girls making themselves sexy is what enables them to find a husband or boyfriend or forfill their emotional sexaul needs by getting guys to see them as more then a friend.

The more sexy a girl is, the more choice she has over guys and the more second chances she has with guys to get them to form relatioships.

Likewise brothers and fathers hould think great... all the guys think she is a babe so she wont be lonley

that is really out of odinary. GOD appear and meet Noah, Abraham, Moses and etc in person. All of them meet GOD first before they proclaim themself as a prophet and yet Muhammad first step becoming a prophet is meeting Angel Gabriel and not GOD. Did he really meet Angel Gabriel, why would Angel Gabriel meet Muhammad went he was meditating in the cave and not other places. because a cave is ussually associated with evil spirit
