Acts 5:1-4
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

So with that said, why wouldn't you believe in the trinity?

Jesus ascribed Deity to Himself in scripture as well (John 8:58)(John 10:30)...clearly making Him God in the flesh.

This question is basically for Watchtower Witnesess and anyone else who denies the 3 in 1.

The Holy Spirit is God.

God is Holy.
God is Spirit.
God is the Holy Spirit.
He is also the father of Spirits.
Heb. 12:9.
That which proceeds from the Father is His Son.
The Word proceeded from the Father and is His son.
John 1:1 John 1:14.
AND,
John 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from the Father.
John 16:28 "I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; I am leaving the world again, and going to the Father."
Notice the "came forth" in the verses.
AND,
John 3:11 "Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak that which we know, and bear witness of that which we have seen; and you do not receive our witness.
Notice it starts out with I and changes to we. From the indicative to the plural.
AND,
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.
Notice He goes from my to We and our.

So, yes, Three in one.

Valid point. I don't think that some people can grasp the concept of 3 in 1. It is what I was raised believeing and if there is one God then they must be 3 in 1 or we would have 3 Gods....

To lie to the Holy Spirit is to lie to God. That is a no no!

Matthew 19:18Thou shalt not bear false witness,

The Trinity was there right from the very beginning of creation.

26 And God said, LET US MAKE MAN AFTER OUR,
AFTER OUR LIKENESS": and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
