means from the Bible and we explain it, non-believers can't hit the "thumbs down" button fast enough? You may choose not to believe the answer but that doesn't mean it is wrong. The answers we give are found in the Bible so from that stand point we have given the correct answer.
(For those who say this isn't a question, but a statement, look closly at the sentence ending in the question mark)

Yeah. Agreed.

But then, there have been times when I've hit the thumbs down only because someone doesn't agree with me (in different categories.) I am guilty, too.

I know this is not really the subject, but your post is not really a question, even though it ends in a question mark.

Obviously people are judgmental. Some people here truly want to ask and answer questions. Others are very close-minded, especially when it comes to religion and religious beliefs. Some people actually take pride in their thumbs-down, it is like a red badge of courage.

its the same thing as some 1 answering a question and another person just doesnt like the answer whether is right or wrong. if they dont like the answer they hit a thumbs down. it doesnt matter if the answer is right. they just didnt like it.

ive seen lots of answers that i didnt like but i didnt use a thumbs down. the only time i use thumbs down is when its either a dumb answer or its a mean and insulting 1. or they slammed the asker over a simple question. same thing as insulting i guess. lol. sry.

No biggie. They are just in self-denial from other ideas. I just hope they actually READ the answer before the thumbs down. Maybe, MAYBE then the answer will at least be in the back of their minds ready to come out when they start seeking the truth.

Think about it -- figure it out.

A lot of people on this site do not believe the Bible is a standard of truth. It is easier not to think and speak nonsense than it is to take time to try and understand another point of view.

Morning st-- being a classic example

because sometimes it's not a question about Christianity. like when someone asks about Judaism or Islam, the NT is NOT what they are looking for, this is not the jesus&jesus section of yahoo answers, its R&S..
