Dear Friend,
Because by following Christ you gain so much more:
Consider the following:
Matthew 6:Treasures in Heaven
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
and also
Phillippians 3:7But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. 10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Pressing on Toward the Goal
12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Dear Friend, the feeling of having a relationship with the one true God and his son outweigh anything that can be given to you on earth. This gift is available to you also, free of charge. all you have to do is ask for it!
God loves you and wants you to come home.
God Bless

Some people feel a very strong calling. Most members of the clergy are very happy in what they do. If they were not happy they would leave. Yes it is possible to leave the clergy.

Every one wants power. One would love to head the world.
If that is not possible a country, city or village or neighborhood.
If that too is not possible One would love to head one's home, wife, children, friends.
When they kicks him out he becomes a priest.

Because God calls them to do so, and one can never be fulfilled as completely as when one is where God calls you to be. One who is called to be a priest could never be fully satisfied doing anything else.

firstly to become a Pastor what do you have to give up? secondly be not conformed to THIS world....so why would anything physical be so hard to give up. your goal in life should be your relationship with the Father if it is, who cares what you give up here on earth as its no where near as important as your walk with God should be...
