Ok christains out there why do you hate the Pagan and Wiccan Religions? I personally was raised christain and went to Wicca and found my solace there. So whats so wrong with my religion?

Satan gives you all the material possesstion you could want, all the sins embraced, in exchange for you soul.
God gives you all the commandments, and the saints suffer, in exchange for your soul.
Why does either option mean your soul is a slave for eternity... and which would you choose (Jehovah or Satan)?

Except within the confines of marriage? If the bible is against homosexuality and we are rallying to to make sure that same sex marriages stay illegal, why is there not more of a movement to make all fornication illegal?

A woman came out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, not from his head to be superior over, but from his side to be equal Under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved.

What comes to your mind after reading the above, what do you think of the person who wrote this, Ladies do you feel like this is how women should be viewed & treated.

Christians are so hypocrites!!they say the one thing while they do the other.
How many baptised Christians follow the christianic lifestyle?
I believe less than the half of it!!!!
You say that a christian criminal who have killed over 1000 people and he has been sorry about it can go to heaven but an atheist who all his life had unconditional love and act by that feeling, an atheist who is in Brazil and helping the poor children and he has dedicate his whole life to serving others can NOT go to heaven..
I thought God is love, who is serving better the God eventually?
some Christians even told to me straight ahead: ''mercy, love, serving others won't help you getting to heaven, only Jesus will''

3- Do you know the use of usury (interest) is forbidden?

Leviticus 25:36-37: Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee. Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.
Psalms 15:5: He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

As long as you have faith in the divine, that should be all that matters, because whether you call it Allah, Zeus, Jesus, or God, it is STILL RECOGNIZING THE DIVINE ENTITY...

One of the things which has most surprised me since looking in on this website is the number of pagans(!) who are around. I had thought they were a thing of the dim and distant past. But no! Believing in a whole galaxy of different gods seems to be something which many thousands of people still do. They believe in 'magic'. (What is magic exactly?) The big appeal seems to be that they can be witches or wizards. To me it seems absolutley incredible that people can still think like that. Is it that we really only have a veneer of civilization,and that underneath is all fear and supertstion?

Now I was violated for stating that evolution deniers were ignorant bigots but I stand by my assertion. When the weight of evidence for any given phenomenon is such that it would be perverse to deny it those who do deny it are doing so only because they are bigots and ignorant of the evidence. The evidence for species evolution is so great that it can't rightly be denied that it occurs so I will state once again that the challengers of evolution are ignorant bigots. If stating that very obvious fact is a violation of the user policy here too bad.

i'm not trying to challenge any persons belief, i'm just really interested in what christians think.

i'm wondering. why God doesn't come down to tell everyone about himself. It seems really unfair how people who never heard of God or dont' trust him have to go to hell. And what is heaven like? Is it really gold palaces and clouds and angels? And what is hell like? and if you go to hell and you see your friends can you go sit and talk to them? oh and last question, how do you get to heaven/hell? is it just kind of like, in your head, or is it an actual place where you have to fly or something to get to?

Please don't go into the obvious logical fact that it is easier to preset beliefs on absolutes, thereby not needing to consider the situation before judging it's moral or ethical correctness.

If people were thinking logically, that argument would crumble under the logic of the eternal truth that nothing is absolute in the universe. The only known constant is change, movement, etc.

So therefore this must be a religious, emotional or otherwise irrational belief, or part of a larger belief system, and I would very much like to know where it's roots lie.

It was written in our holy book(we are mandaean belong to prophet John the baptist) that Adam and Eve are created in the ground(earth)and the spirit comes from heaven and enter their bodies while other religions say that they created completely at heaven and they were come down to the ground as a punishment for their bad behaviour in the heaven

I'm a little torn on the story, what I am asking is...
The star of bethlehem , and the magii had this figured when christ was born in a manger, and they brought him gifts...

Then , was there a falling out period where Jesus had to be a child, and were Joseph and Mary aware that he was this during his childhood.

Was there a period where John the baptist and Jesus discussed him being the savior? Was Jesus ever unsure of his father's message and plan for him?
