Your questions are so sincere, they made me smile. Thank you!
1. It is a walk of faith. All the proof that God exists is out there my friend.
2. God judges fairly and He judges on what each one knows. The Bible says that by the time Jesus comes, every single person would have been told about the Truth.
3. No one knows exactly what heaven is life, but God says that if we did, we would not survive because it is so wonderful. I personally believe it is bliss - I believe it has all those things we enjoy that are not sinful (like the sea, rivers, mountains, etc.). People will be joyful and child like, with no worries. God will be our father and we will sit on his lap and play and laugh and delight in Him and He in us.
4. There are indeed angels and we will be with them in heaven.
5. Hell is fire and grim and sorrowful. It is a dark place that, like heaven, has levels of pain. Your earthly desires increase there, but are not ever fulfilled (e.g., if you die on drugs and go to hell, you will crave them even more but not be fulfilled). It is desolate and hopeless, bleak.
6. If you are in heaven and your friends in hell, you cannot cross over to them and they cannot come to you. Even if you are in hell, you will not have tea parties with your buddies. You will be alone.
7. You get to heaven by believing in Jesus Christ and asking Him into your heart and doing as He wants you to do. You get to hell by rejecting Him.
8. Heaven and hell are not in the mind, but real.

I don't mean to be critical but if you have time to use the computer then you have time to read a verse or two of the scriptures, you can even read it on the internet
God has told everyone or most everything about himself and we really don't know what happens to people who have NEVER heard. It's those who have heard and don't believe that will go to hell. We can't see into a person's heart, so actually we don't know if a person goes to hell or not. We can speculate as to the way a person lives their life , or whether or not they deny Christ or the exsistence of God but we really DON't know about someone else. You are held accountable for only you, just as I am help accountable for only me. If you truly want to know about Heaven, and you truly want to "get" there, then you will have to get into the scriptures and ask God for an understanding I've been a Christian a long time and no, I don't always act like one but I try not to be something I'm not I admit to my imperfections and confess my sins to God. If you want guarantees; then to get to heaven you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God ( John 3:16-18) and allow him to live with you, that's where the Holy Spirit comes into the picture. When we accept and believe that Christ loves us and that He is the Son of God, walked this earth, began teaching at age 30, healing the sick, doing all kinds of miracles, and accept him as Lord and Savior while askng forgivess of our sins then you can be assured a place in Heaven; It's your soul, your inner ,most being, that goes to heaven. The book of Hebrews tells you about faith. Hebrews 11:1 is one of my favorite verses. You need a Bible that not only has the scriptures but has cross references and explanations or you need to get a commentary to go along with your Bible. Even though I've read the Bible through more than once, there's still things I don't understand and have to go to another source to have further understandig of what I am reading. Get into a Bible teaching church - doesn't matter the denomination as long as he preaches God's word as it should be preached
Hell - don't do anything and the demons of hell will be waiting to escort to the firey furnice
Heaven has streets of gold, and is a place that I don't want to miss out Not only that, I look forward to seeing Christ, my dad, my child that died and all of those who have gone before me.
You won't regret knowing Christ, that is a promise.

Friend, I will try to answer you, God will give every nation a chance to hear the gospel, The bible even says this, Before his coming, Even if it has to go through the internet, & as far as those in remote jungles, I know of ministers that has went into those Jungle with the gospel,, What is heaven like, I have not been there yet, But Heaven will be down here on this earth during the millennium & after the millennium then we will live on this earth in the eternal age. And those golden palaces Is a symbolic term, We are the church, It shows the Majestic glory of God, What is hell like, I have never been there either, & I have no intentions of going, But in the bible it talks about the rich man that died, & was in hell in torment, One day Hell will give up all the wicked dead in the 2nd resurrection (Rev.20:7-15) & hell, satan, & the wicked will be cast into the lake of fire. And no you won't have time or the desire to see your loved ones that goes to hell, You will be tormented beyond compare, until you are completely annialated, Now how do you get to heaven Acts 2:38-47 Repent & be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ & ye shall receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is God's seal of approval & our token for heaven, & how do you get to hell, you do that by not doing the steps to heaven, & yes Heaven & hell is real, it is not just a thought in your head, but they both are real.

Dear Friend, I really applaud your curiosity, and your genuine search for truth. You obviously have thought alot about this. But the premise of your questions is "Would CHRISTIANS please answer these questions." - The reason why you are getting so many responses about the bible is simple: We as Christ-ians, are followers of CHRIST - JESUS CHRIST. - And Jesus Christ WAS God coming down to earth to tell everyone about Himself. He came, and answered ALL of your questions, about heaven, and hell, about how we get there - (John 3:16) - about the fact that the devil and hell are VERY real, and trust me, everything that Jesus taught us about hell, you DO NOT want to go there, and if you love your friends, you don't want them to go there either!! I don't know what your past history is with your family, and why you use that as an excuse to not "be bothered" to read a bible. But if you REALLY want to know the answers to your questions, you need to do three things. Ready? 1. Let go of all of your preconcieved ideas about all of this stuff 2. Buy a bible, and start reading the Gospel of John with an open heart. 3. Find a good bible church in your area (look in the phone book) - and start attending every week. You'll learn alot. I, in the meantime will pray for you! Blessings on you!

Gos does tell everyone about himself - regularly.
Most people don't listen or watch. Now - this is in the Bible, but I'll paraphrase it here. The same sort of question was asked of Jesus. He said that even if someone were to come back from the dead, people wouldn't believe. Lazarus was brought back and the religious leaders of the day wanted to kill him. Jesus was killed and came back - and the leaders rejected the evidence. If God were to come to earth the deniers would still deny.
So God shows us about Him through the physical things we accept. A sunrise or sunset, the change of the tide, a snow storm. He uses our awareness of phenomenon such as coincidence, premonition and intuition to show He is there.
Now all those gold palaces, and so on... no comment, irrelevant really. But since the Bible records them in a vision, they would be there.
Hell - yes a real place. You decide to go there by rejecting the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I'll give this a try.
1. God DID come down to tell us about Himself. In the Old Testament, God spoke directly to His people. In the New Testament, God sent Jesus to speak directly to us about who and what God is. Now, we don't have that advantage, but we do have the Bible, and we do have the Holy Spirit, which was sent to help us understand.
(By the way, I don't believe that people who have never heard of God automatically go to hell. I think we have to hear about God and refuse Him in order to go to hell.)
2. I don't know what heaven's like. I can only imagine.
3. I do think I know what hell is like. The night my aunt, who was heavily into the occult, died, my mom and I both had the same vision. It was of a free fall through space, utter desolation, with evil spirits floating around. Both of us cried out in my aunt's voice...and no one answered. It's too horrible to really describe.
4. I don't know how a person gets to heaven or hell. The Bible doesn't say. Only the dead know, and they don't usually come back to talk about it.
I think it's instant though, or at least seems that way.

He doesn't come down all the time and make himself obvious because then we would not learn faith. "By GRACE through FAITH are you saved, and not of works, lest any man should boast."
I believe everyone will have a choice, so people who have never been taught of God during their lives will get a choice after death perhaps. I don't believe people go to Hell who have never heard the Word.
There is a description of Heaven in the Book of Revelation.
How do you get to Heaven? God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die as a sacrifice for our sins, just like the sacrifices of the lambs they used to make in the Old Testament. Only Jesus was the last sacrfice, a permanent one. All you have to do is accept that Jesus is the Son of God, accept that sacrifice from Him, and you will go to Heaven.
You should really read the gospels (Matt, Mark, Luke, John) for a good description of who Jesus is

well, just like the previous answers you got, the answers ware in the bible..if you are so curious about this, then you should be willing to take the time to read the bible - who knows, you might even learn a thing or two more!!!
Also, note that this world will not come to an end, i.e. rapture will not take place until everyone has had an opportunity to hear about God and his Kingdom...and with the advent of better technology in terms of media and communication, i doubt if it will take too long to reach everyone in the world with the Godpel..i mean almost everyone has a TV, radio, internet, etc..and the missionaries are really reaching out into the very remote places of the world to share the gospel!

He came down... someone hung him on a cross.
If you read the Bible... it describes heaven and hell.
I think you'd be to busy with trying to prevent your flesh from burning to be looking for friends in hell.
Again... the answer is in the Bible. Believe and accept the gift.
Heaven is not someplae yo can point to.
***************
That should be the textbook answers from Christians.
Now something to think about::
1) If there is no afterlife... then what you do or do not believe just doesn't matter.
2) If there is an afterlife and there is no hell, then what you believe or don't believe does not matter.
3) If there is an afterlife and there is a hell and you don't believe... guess where you'll end up.

There is in the Bible an age of accountability, protecting those that are too young, or handicapped to understand. Gods way of helping those that cannot understand. Babies and young children that die go straight to heaven and do not have to pass go. I believe that this would cover people that really have never heard or had the chance. They would be considered children to God
