Satan gives you all the material possesstion you could want, all the sins embraced, in exchange for you soul.
God gives you all the commandments, and the saints suffer, in exchange for your soul.
Why does either option mean your soul is a slave for eternity... and which would you choose (Jehovah or Satan)?

Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach that most dead humans will be resurrected to life in a restored paradise earth, with the hope of living forever under God and Christ. Sins while human are forgiven, almost without exception. It seems possible that a purposeful devotion to the enemy of God and Christ might disqualify one from such an eternal hope.

What does the bible teach about "the soul"?

A "soul" is a life, with no implication regarding some immortal otherwordly entity. Each deceased life is in Jehovah God's remembrance (with the potential for future resurrection), but the dead do not exist anywhere but memories until and unless the life is resurrected.

(Ezekiel 18:4) The soul that is sinning - it itself will die.

(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all

(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]

(Genesis 2:17) But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”

(Genesis 17:14) And an uncircumcised male who will not get the flesh of his foreskin circumcised, even that soul must be cut off from his people. He has broken my covenant.”

(Judges 16:30) And Samson proceeded to say: “Let my soul die with the Philistines.” Then he bent himself with power, and the house went falling upon the axis lords and upon all the people that were in it, so that the dead that he put to death in his own death came to be more than those he had put to death during his lifetime.

(Job 33:22) And his soul draws near to the pit, And his life to those inflicting death.

(Psalm 78:50) He did not hold back their soul from death itself; And their life he handed over even to the pestilence.

(Isaiah 53:12) he poured out his soul to the very death

(Acts 3:23) Indeed, any soul that does not listen to that Prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.’

(Revelation 16:3) And the second one poured out his bowl into the sea. And it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died, yes, the things in the sea.

You are mistaken.........Only the ones who overcome the world (which Satan is the god of) and the things in it, will have eternal life.......the saints do not suffer......they are actually free. Freedom from sin and having the power of God's Holy Spirit is (being "born of the Holy Spirit" after receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior) is what keeps them that way. They are not slaves to sin anymore, they are servants of God........Satan is the Lie of Life and the Father of Lies. He enslaves the world to sin with the lusts of life such as greed of money, envy, immoral behavior, the pride of life and the dazzling display of science and technology that become the idols of worship to a lost world..................The first hell is Hades (the grave in Greek) where your soul is merely "asleep" until the return of Jesus or your final judgment and your first opportunity for salvation in the White Throne Judgment.......Your soul will not live on in eternity if you heard and understood but rejected Jesus Christ, your soul will perish in the Lake of Fire (Gehenna; hell, the second death). God is not cruel. God is kind and will not bring on suffering for an eternity for anyone of His creatures. There is no such thing as "burning in hell" for eternity. Nowhere in the Bible does it teach that. This is a misinterpretation of scripture and is a fallacy the is being promoted among the false prophets of today. Only Satan and his fallen angles will suffer for eternity in the third hell, Tartarus; meaning a confining of angels. They will be forever in torment. God loves the world and has patience beyond our comprehension. God wants everyone to come to their redemption if it were possible. But we must choose Him of our own free will. We must proof to Him that we are sincere in our faith and are loyal to Him, or why would He want us? God does not want rebellion in His Kingdom again!...........Shortly after the Millennium (1000 yr) reign of Christ and His saints (believers) who are joint heirs in the coming KIngdom of God on earth, there is what is called the great White Throne Judgment.......If anyone who has not come to accept God's Gift of salvation now either because they never heard nor understood the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they will have their first and only opportunity to become true children of God and they too can overcome the world... .......We will have Life for an eternity in God's Kingdom in heaven and the vast universe which will be ours to enjoy. There is no comparison!

Probably because your soul is the one thing that you have the freedom to give away. It is your most valuable thing, and in all honesty, the only thing you have that is lasting.

Your body breaks down, your mind can be altered with chemicals, but your soul can retain it's beauty even when these other earthly things have changed.

Your idea about God is very, very wrong! About the soul thing, you can never ever find that in the bible even if you would read it word for word. You are really wrong about your perspective of God. All I can say is that to follow the Lord is to suffer. But your soul being taken? That refers only to Satan. My goodness!

You are imagining the whole thing. There is no evidence that there is any such thing as a soul. You can have mine if you can find it.

What I don't understand is why all of these entities - that don't exist - would be interested in acquiring something that also does not exist.
