It was written in our holy book(we are mandaean belong to prophet John the baptist) that Adam and Eve are created in the ground(earth)and the spirit comes from heaven and enter their bodies while other religions say that they created completely at heaven and they were come down to the ground as a punishment for their bad behaviour in the heaven
I believe in my religion because it agree with the scientific truth

Adam & Eve was created from the earth, & heaven was on this earth at one time before the fall, God did not take Adam & Eve from a geographic territory of this earth, they stay right there in the Garden & to this day people still have lived there. You can find the boundry lines of the Garden in Gen. chapter 2. The only thing God did was to lift that part of heaven from Adam & Eve. And his majestic glory from them.

Adam was created "out of the dust of the earth" like the Scripture says. Eve was created from one of Adam's ribs ( and presumably some dust of the earth as well). You'll find these references in the early part of the book of Genesis.

Probably on the ground because there wouldn't be enough dust in heaven to make up a man. The maid service there is awesome.
