yes in the form of another name viz. Contract Marriage.
As the ages of persons marrying are increasing for reasons of academics, careers etc we are getting more cases of incompatibility, childlessness, aged parents etc.
Also, persons in order to test their sexuality do not mind having casual flings leading to promiscuity and an increase in no.of cases of STDs like AIDs and an overall lowering of moral-values in society.
Being much longer together with persons of the same sex may be the reason for increasing levels of Sex-Perversions such as homosexuality, lesbianism and perhaps even paedophilism seen today in society.
The answer to curb everything said above may lie in contract marriages between 2 mature individuals of different sex, perhaps with the consent of their respective parents, conducted around the time of finishing their studies where both of them are neither or partially settled so that at least one of them supports the other in the pursuit of a career.
Such couples will turn out to be highly responsible towards each other and towards their parents who have reposed their faith in them and allowed them to move around freely maybe with some financial support, initially.
The chances of such contract-marriages going sour will be minimal and even in cases where things don't work out to it's fruitful end,Marriage the parting will not be as damaging as at present.

Pre-marital sex has existed since marriage existed. The difference now is that we can stop unwanted pregnancy before it happens help to stop STD's and treat them more effectively. If fear of this and social stigma didn't stop it much in the first place encouraging people to be unashamed but make good choices is not going to do anything other than stop women being locked away as either insane or too morally corrupt to exist in society.

Interesting how it was only the women they locked away, like we aren't supposed to have a normal sex drive very wrong

The Bible calls “pre-marital sex” fornication. It is repeatedly condemned in Scripture along with all other forms of sexual immorality (Acts 15:20; Romans 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:13,18; 7:2; 10:8; 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephesians 5:3; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Jude 7). The Bible promotes abstinence before marriage. Fornication is the specific term given to sexual relations before marriage. Sex before marriage is just as wrong as adultery and other forms of sexual immorality, because they all involve having sex with someone you are not married to.

I don't agree. Pre-marital sex should not be encouraged. What is the fun in marriage life if one has already had sex before marriage life. If the person has sex for the first time in his life after marriage it helps the person to bond with his/her partner and lays the foundation of the marriage. Sex is holy and so by having pre-marital sex it hsould not be made unholy.

First of all don't need to encourage such things as we don't want people to be a sex maniac. Pre-marital sex just happens howeverer is lucky & who really tries to have it.

But it may possible that it may affects his life
in future.
So there's no need to encourage pre-marital sex.

If you want to to encourage pre-marital sex, eliminate sex education in schools. Hey, it's working in Texas where teen pregnancy is FOUR times what it was in 2000!

The only way premarital sex is "wrong" is if there was never any procreation before marriage was invented. What would be truly wrong is not educating kids about hot to avoid STDs and pregnancy.

Sex is an intimacy best enjoyed when you are completely involved with your partner. Pre-marital sex raises the chances that one can have sex with more than one in a search for a pefect partner in the bed. This would affect the psychological factors while perfroming sex. Imagine your lady comparing yourself with an ex of hers while you are doing the stuff. What impact would it have on you then? What would be the level of her involvement in that case? Surely enough sex would be more of a routine business rather than intimacy. Just like it is for the prostitutes...

No it should not be encouraged. It is way to important to just do with anyone, if that person loves you and you love them and are going to spend the rest of your life with them then you two can wait until you are married.

No! Pre-marital sex destroys the sacredness of the sacrament of matrimony/marriage. It is also against the teachings of the Catholic Church. The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ and the Sacraments were instituted by Christ Himself. Therfore, one can say that your question is basically a sin.
