Islamicly, the most heinous lie is against God, His prophets, His revelation, and bearing false witness. We should be careful not to make false excuses like ‘I was too busy or I forgot,’ or say words that can be taken as promises by others like ‘I’ll call back tomorrow,’ with no such intention.

Most people have their views on god and what happens after you die.. I personally have never been able to decide. I like to believe because i like the idea that there is someone or something that i could go to for help when i need it. At the same time its hard to believe because theres nothing to see to prove he/she is there. Has anyone found something that has helped them out in deciding on wether or not to believe?.. cuz ive been torn in half for a while

why is it so important to be baptised to get into heaven? What if you are baptised when you're a baby? But won't you sin when you get older? because I mean between the time when you got baptized when you're like a baby and now, you would have sinned. Everybody does. Does that mean you have to get baptized again when you get older? what if you are not baptized at all, and you don't really do anything bad your whole life, does that mean you go to hell or what?

for example -some religions advocate fasting -if it improves our health it is ok.
but if it spoils our health,by fasting in the name of religion,
it is not good.
we throw flowers/fruits in rivers/temples/trees etc
in the name of religion, the same fruits, flowers can be utilised in a better way.

Hi, I'm a Muslim. Currently I'm trying to learn more about you guys because I want peace and harmony between the two of us. So, could you, as a Christian, explain+give me verse before and verse after this? I do not mean any harm, this is a serious question. So I appreciate if you answer seriously.

I've been wondering, just how literally do Christians take the Bible? I know some just take it symbolically, while others take it word-for-word. More specifically, the whole "God created the world in seven days" thing. Is that taken literally as seven of our days? Because if he created animals one day, and people the next...
...When did the dinosaurs fit in there?

If I'm taking something waaay too literally, I'm sorry, as someone who's not Christian I sometimes am way off with these things. It's just something I've been wondering.

I'll give an easy example:
my personal beliefs would tell me that stealing is wrong, so if I steal knowing full well it is wrong, would my 'punishment' (I'm using that term lightly) be more than a person who stole something and did not know what he was doing is wrong?

OKay, if a person kills someone but they repent in prison will they still go to heaven? If no then say I tell a lie and repent I won't go to heaven?! and if yes, If I was that person's family member that they killed I wouldn't want them to be in heaven with me, even if they were sorry. Especially if they killed my child!

Read below:

Truly this man was the Son of God” (Mark 15:39).

The same confession of the same centurion at the same scene, at the very moment, is reported in Luke also. But in Luke the Centurion is reported as saying:

“Certainly this man was innocent” (Luke 23:47).

and below does not make sense. It is obvious somebody has replace the word "god" with "good" as the word "god" fit perfectly in the statement compare to "good".

Mark 10:18 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered.
"No one is good -- except God alone.

God has different plans for everyone. Like the body, every cell in the body can not be a heart cell, there needs to be bone cells, skin, eyes, etc. Why must every human on Earth be of the same religion? Maybe God wants the Christians and Atheists and Buddists and every other kind. Many people have a religion that fits with the environment they live in, like the native tribes of this land. Maybe God wanted Christianity for the Middle East but not South America? What do you think.
