ABSOLUTELY. The Bible talks about this.
Luke 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Hope that answers your question!

Whether we realize it or not , if we do something bad to another, either in this same present life or some future one, we will find ourselves in a similar situation as the person that we harmed. We will suffer to the same degree in order that we may realize our mistake and repay for the harm we inflicted on him. This is the unerring application of the divine principle of karma. Innocence of the law is no excuse.
However, the main purpose behind karma is to help us learn and understand. To some limited extent, we can offset some of our debts, so to speak, by rendering commensurate service.
But in every case, from those to whom much is given, much is required. Those who are more “enlightened” will be meted a heavier penalty.

Just enlightment is not enough. It must be tempered with love and strength. For example, just knowing that it is wrong to commit adultery with Pamela Sue Anderson does not give me the power to resist doing so, nor does it give me the love to consider her welfare.
When you are "enlightened" you should also pray for the strength and love that goes with it. Otherwise you will be in the same state as before your "enlightment," and your punishment will not necessary be more than someone who pleads ignorance. However your sin can keep you from progressing towards more blessings and gifts.

I think God has the same standards for everyone, it's a matter of who meets or exceeds the standards that counts.

not if you repented and no, I don't believe your punishment would be any different than the person who didn't know it was wrong. It would be your own moral code that would make you suffer because of your intentional act.

there is no god to the truly enlightened mind but the justice system can impose standards.
