Based on I.Q. tests given to members of different professions, pastors scored the lowest. The intelligence of some pastors is equivalent to that of an adult monkey, or a 3 year old child. Some border on retardation.

Have you ever experienced a real miracle in your life or the lives of someone around you? I'm not talking about the miracle of childbirth or the miracle of salvation. Something else like healing or freeing someone from a cult.
I am presently praying for a situation in my family and would love to hear about other Christian's experiences. I do believe in miracles but have trouble keeping faith sometimes.

for instance the majority is following an idea " with or againest" a group of peaple without being well learned about this group of peaple thoughts ,ideas and culture.
the whole world now has a fobia of islam without carfull reading or deep learning exactly what is Islam calls for.
We should not follow the media or the polititions who both have their own agenda which is not the agenda of the world majority.

I mean, if i were to point out the most important time in one's life where character is formed, maturity starts to settle, and a person leaves childhood in order to become a man, it is exactly the period of time in the life of Jesus that is exempt from the Bible. Why does the Bible not accept the 'other' gospels where there is mention of this. I must think that this is a no brainer. I want to know more about this man, not that I don't know enough, but I want to connect to his 'human' side. Let us not fool ourselves, this 'void' was not a missprint, or was it?

heres a verse homie it talks about cells

Hebrews 11:3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

that verse talks about atoms! things are made of atoms everything we see is made of atoms but we can't see the atoms can't we and this was written way before there was telescopes.

i was a atheist but you really have to look at the facts
it takes more faith to be a atheist than to believe in god

instituted by Hillel I I in the mid-4th century C.E.

There is a very small sect, (about 12,000 worldwide) who observe the original calendar as God intended. These are the "Karaites".

There was another great calendrical controversy in the 11th century involving Saadia Gaon and Maimonides...(Interesting reading for any "calendar buffs"....

I am not Jewish, but about 30 years ago, I did some extensive research on the subject. The above are my conclusions.

I invite any who challenge my conclusions to respond.

I have read very interesting and wonderful stories (although controversial) on the apocryph gospels... There are more controversial stories found in the official scriptures and no one loses sleep over them.

Let me get this straight....
Lots of people say the LDS church is a cult correct?
A Cult is basically a church that is widely beleived to be false right?
Well Did you know the church has over 12 million members?

I dont think it can be "widely" false if it has a lot of members...

What is your definition of cult?

in the case of Christianity - "perfect sacrifice (Jesus) to pay for sin"

sounds to me the same ideals that the Maya & Azteca civilisations used to appease the Gods..

Hasn't anyone ever thought of that as proof of God? How else can women account for the extra rib. When God took the rib from Adam it left man a rib short. How much more proof does them damn Atheists need than that?

I have known a great deal of people, in which I have known for 6 (+) years, who have been profoundly influenced and helped in ways they never imagined possible by Dianetics. It seems so many people who know absolutely nothing about the practice of scientology or what it is truely about enjoy bashing this study of the human mind and how powerful it can become. So many people bring up the fact that the classes cost money, but that is what they are...CLASSES of STUDY. Why are people so afraid of things in which they truely do not understand? You cant judge what an apple is if you have never seen, held or tasted one.

i think that the gods made the universe and then possibly used evolution to create complex life. but this article makes me wonder how comples it is.

(snip)
IT'S BEEN A TOUGH month for creationists. On April 6, evolutionary biologists announced the discovery of a fossil of Tiktaalik roseae, a giant fish whose fins were evolving into limbs when it died 375 million years ago. This scaly creature of the sea was in transition to becoming a land animal, the discoverers wrote in Nature.

A day later, molecular biologists reported in Science that they had traced the origin of a key stress hormone, found in humans and all vertebrates, back 450 million years to a primitive gene that arose before animals emerged from oceans onto land.
