Have you ever experienced a real miracle in your life or the lives of someone around you? I'm not talking about the miracle of childbirth or the miracle of salvation. Something else like healing or freeing someone from a cult.
I am presently praying for a situation in my family and would love to hear about other Christian's experiences. I do believe in miracles but have trouble keeping faith sometimes.

Yes, I have.

Keep praying and trust that God knows what He is doing. He can see the "big picture," we can't. God bless!

Jo, miracles do happen every day. I have seen several in my lifetime. The first I remember is when my father was in a terrible car accident where he hit a telephone pole at a very high rate of speed. He was thown through the windshield and only had minor scratches. The steering wheel was through the back of the seat where he had been sitting. At his speed even being thrown clear should have injured him.
Most recently I went to church where the congregation prayed for me and anointed me with oil, because I had a large mass on the front of my leg. It was very painful and had been there unchanged for over two months. I gave thanks for the healing before I seen signs of it, the Bible says "by His stripes you are healed" not you will be healed in the future, it is already done. You have to have faith. It doesn't matter if you see results you give thanks as though it was already done. I left the church and drove less than two miles home, while I was changing out of my church clothes, I noticed the lump was less than half the size it was at the church!!! Praise God!!! I do not know what your family is going through, but I do know that you can recieve help from God if you give your life to Him, and believe in miracles with your faith. What you must understand is that He can see what you cannot, He understands what you cannot. We must pray for His will, not ours. He knows best, He created us. We must trust that if he does not give us our desires there is a reason we will only understand when we are in Heaven. He answers all prayers, we have to accept when sometimes the answer is no.
I will pray for you and your family situation, I do not need to know what it is, God knows already.
God be with you....

I've said this before in Yahoo answer.. but anyway I'm gonna say it again..

so the story is actually my dad's friend.. and he had a cancer (stadium 3) and he was going to do some operation for it. And then there was this pastor came to him the day before the operation while me n my family were there to visit my dad's friend. And the pastor said "we can't force God to do what we want, we can only let God do His will" but the pastor kept praying for him and his family. Surprise..surprise.. the next day the doctor said that the cancer had gone.. he did some check up before the operation and the cancer just totally n completely gone..

this kinda thing don't happen very often.. n you shouldn't want just miracles from God.. you should love Him for everything He has given us not just miracles..

Yes. God healed my back one time. I had a displaced vertebrae in my lower back and God put it back in alignment. There are x-rays that show a huge difference - before and after kind of thing. I felt it go back in place after prayer but it didn't hurt. My aunt was healed of a serious ear problem that needed radical surgery. She passed out and was in pain all the time because she was sensitive to noise - they needed to do constructive surgery. We prayed for her anointing her with oil and God completely healed her - doesn't have any problems with it now and no surgery. I saw a leg lengthened once - it grew out right before my eyes until it matched the other leg. I saw food multiplied like in the New Testament. We took home as much food as we prepared after feeding over 150 people once! I still can't get over that one. My friend had her back healed from very painful condition - she said she could feel "fingers and hands" kneeding the muscles and putting things back in order while we prayed for her - none of us were touching her back during prayer. This same friend was healed of fibromyalgia - very painful. Now it is completely gone and has been for about 4 years now. I've seen God deliver from demon possession - literally. It was like a night and day difference in that person after the demon left. There have been several of those. God lead me to cleanse my parents rent house of demon spirits one time. God was very specific in what we were to do - it takes too much room to explain here but the end result was we heard the demons leave - again literally. We couldn't "see" anything but we heard things like hissing and the sound of wings and cackles, whistles, I actually ducked once because I felt the brush of something flying by me. It was wild! But in the end the house had a completely differenct "feel" to it - like a spring breeze had blown through the place. It even smelled fresh and clean. Then we went through and blessed it with anointing oil and prayer - and you know, my parents have not had another problem with keeping that house rented and in good order. Before it was a nightmare keeping things from going wrong all the time and people not staying or staying and not paying their rent or something. But now it really is a house of Blessing. We found out later that one of the renters was a satanist and had done satanic rituals etc in it - so of course satan's imps moved in. Anyway, there is so much God has done that cannot be explained by science, human reasoning or human manipulation. God is truly awesome.

I have seen one and had one personally
The first one was when my grandson was born dead and I prayed to God to give him life and Tyson is now 10 months old

The second one was to do with me, I was born with one leg shorter than the other and was in constant pain all my life and about 4 weeks ago I was in dreadful pain and I asked my friends here to pray for me to take the pain away and I have been pain free since. Praise God for both

God Bless You

Instantaneous healing for a neck problem. I just knew that God had healed me even before I had any real evidence of it and by faith it proved to be the case.

Yeah, I agree.
The bible says WHEN you pray, WHEN you fast and WHEN you give..
not if you feel like it i might do something good for you..
you need to fast, pray and fast more.
I will be praying for you.
Depends what country you live in..
but, visit a variety of different churches.. it should help
and if it's available, look for books by Stuart Robinson.

St. Anthony managed to locate 3 lost items for me once.

They had been lost for months. No one could find them.

I asked St. Anthony to find them for me, and gave him a week to do it.

Just a couple of hours before I needed them for an important church project, they miraculously appeared.

True story.

St. Anthony never fails.

We're not in the business of witnessing miracles, we're in the business of learning how to make them happen.

Try fasting, praying and reading the bible for 2-3 days. Ask God to show you his will rather than telling him what to do.
