I was just thinking that same thing! Atheists must have ten times more faith in their beliefs than those who believe in God. They must struggle to proove, while we have the proof all around us! It is also amazing that the Bible in Isaiah 40:22 says "There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth..." Circle is translated from the Hebrew text, which also can mean sphere. 732 bc and the bible stated that the world was round!

Phew, am glad I opted for the hard shave then, ok, hard to believe, hard to believe its not butter, ( English butter substitute ), that why life went so wrong, probably just too casual with it, paying the price now, that the church preaches sharing and compassion, and yet its one of the richest bodies in the world and so many people are starving, they would rather hope that I go to church on a Sunday or collect pence from little old ladies who are putting their heating money on the begging plate rather than dig into its own resources. Yet the link to Kirk Cameron's ministry?
If you have ever watchted this guy's show, you would realize how callous and uninformed he truly is. That he is ignorant comes as no surprise. The biggest problem for people preaching today, is that they have the desire to preach, but they do not have the love. Kirk and his friend(the one on the link) go out into the street and basically belittle people by askng them if they're saved. And if not tell them they are going to hell. The hell Kirk believes in is one of eternal torment where the God of love keeps people alive forever to punish for the sin they inherited.
The idea for a burning hell comes from pagan religions predating Jesus by thousands of years. From Mesopotamia, the Sumerians
and Babylonians, from Egypt, from Indo-Iran, and from the Greeks, to list a few.
Yet the idea does not form in the Bible. In the Bible at the first pronouncement from God of judgment, he told Adam, "For dust you are, and to dust you will return."
Later the Bible says the dead are concious of nothing. It clearly points out that there is no activity for those that have died. This was said of course previous to Jesus sacrifice. (Those that were to be ressurected are to wait until Jesus 1000year reign. That is why Job, in his suffering prated to be concealed in she'ol[hell]).
In the book of Ezekiel, it says that the soul dies.
Si, to sum it up, Kirk Cameron, teaches a doctrine that is not in harmony with the Bible. He promotes the lie from Satan that we do not really die. He has made himself an enemy of the truth. An enemy of Jesus and God Almighty.
That being said it at once comical and sad to see him waste his time badgering people with his defective brand of Christianity.
