I've seen a lot of Christians on this site complain about being harassed by different people including atheists, agnostics, people w/ other religious beliefs, and homosexuals. My question is why do Christians not see their attempts at conversion as a form of harassment? Quoting scripture, telling me you want to 'save' others, and saying your doing God's will is simply not good enough. I want a real answer here and not some cliche response. "Spreading the Word of Christ" to people who do not want to hear it IS HARASSMENT the same way atheists going to your church on Sunday and trying to convert you would be harassment. Those who desire your help will seek it and until that day leave others alone.
I ask again why do Christians not see conversion attempts as harassment?

If you must now believe in Jesus and be saved to go to heaven, does that mean everyone in the Old Testament went to Hell?

The HOLY ROSARY is a GOSPEL PRAYER OF CONTEMPLATION WITH MARY ON THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST AND MARY.
I have been praying the HOLY ROSARY since I was a child, even without thoroughly understanding the beauty and meaning of what it is.Yet over the years praying the HOLY ROSARY played a big role in my family life as the source of the strength that held us together.

What if we discovered that we actually DID evolve from chimps and we were 100% sure, and you were truely against the whole idea because your religion had deneid it, would you still believe in what you were taught or change your views?

Didn't God make him in a state of grace (sinless)? How did evil thoughts appear in Satan's mind so that he decided to rebel against God? Those thoughts had to come from somewhere! - either from WITHIN Satan (meaning he wasn't created free of evil) or from WITHOUT him (meaning evil already existed before Satan rebelled, and Satan was tempted by it!) Or did Satan create evil (making him a co-creator with God?)

My family tried to raise me a christian, but they were confused. My mother would tell me stories about Icarus and Pandora, when I asked her if they were true, she said "Of course they're true, they're in the Bible." My dad has never been very religious but he tried to respect the rest of the family in a Christian upbringing, but every once in a while would pull out something like the teachings of Buddha or astral projection. I'm not entirely sure he did this by accident.
Did anyone else go through this?

Christians keeps telling me homosexuality is something we make a "choice" about. As a hetro, I've never had to "chose" at all! I've never once had to remind myself to be attracted to the opposite sex. So, for those christians who claim it's a choice, what's it like to be tempted by the same sex and what helps you personally to make the right "choice"?
