Because of a chronic medical condition, I have had to take medication since I was 21. This medication is necessary to me and I cannot stop taking it without risking my life, but it is also associated with severe birth defects when taken by pregnant women. Because of that, I felt I was doomed to remain childless, against my will. When I first became pregnant- it was unplanned!- I was terrified for my child. I could not stop taking the medicine, because that would risk my life and the child's too, but I worried night and day about what it might be doing to my baby. I petitioned God nearly every waking hour, for my child's sake. I prayed constantly that he be whole in spirit, mind, and body. But the anxiety gnawed at me and was a blemish on what should have been a joyful time. I must have wearied the Lord's ears, because one day I got an answer. Scoff if you like, but I know the truth. I heard a voice, not like a person's voice, and not from within me either. It just said, "It's enough. Your prayer has been heard and it will be all right." And from that moment on, my fear left me. It just slipped away, and I was able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy and concentrate on making things ready for my baby. Today I have 3 children, all whole and healthy and beautiful, and I still take that same medication, out of need. God gave me the family I thought I could never have. Why I was given the favor of a direct answer from Him I'll never know. There's nothing special about me. Maybe more people would hear His voice if they were actually listening.

There are two problems with your question.
1. There is no evidence that an outside agency such as God has had any effect on our universe. Everything that is explained so far is explained through physical laws and scientific principles.
2. You are assuming a God that picks and chooses. You say God saved your life. You only pointed that out because there are others that God in a similar case did not save. Such a God is anything but good. In fact, the statement "I thank God that I am here today." is an insult to the relatives of those who did not survive.
The only miracle that God did for me was sometime in my dim childhood past when he first revealed his nonexistence to me.

The greatest miracle of all time. He saved my soul from eternal torment. I did it the Bible Way (Acts 2:38) I believed that he is who He says He is, I repented of my sins, I was baptized by immersion in His Name for the remission of my sins, and I was given the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. I feel better, no more guilt, no regrets, Jesus is now my Best Friend! I have also seen the dead come back to life among many other miracles!!

God has saved my life many times in near misses in car crashes, and almost being electrocuted, nearly drowning, and HE gave me a wonderful husband, a wonderful daughter, and good health for the last 50 years...
Right now I am in poor health, but I am not sad, because I still have everything else and my husband takes care of me...
I can't complain too much, I kinda wish I was back at work and seeing my friends, but I am unable to walk or stand for very long...
I enjoy being a housewife now as I already worked for 30 years in my past...
So I did my time...

god has kept me save. during my teens, i was pretty wild. my grandma is extremely religious and i really feel that because of that, i've not been in big trouble. i have a lot of examples...mainly situations where i was drinking and driving and stuff and got pulled over, or almost wrecked...lots of things but he's always made sure that i was ok. i should say that i no longer drink and i'm a very safe responsible person now.
i am convinced that god is why i've not had more trouble in my life.

I'm still alive despite all the stupid things I did when I was 19. Apparently God wanted me to stick around for a bit. What I don't get is why so many better people than me have died too young.

First of all He gave me this wonderful gift called life, then He gave me a wonderful and loving family, He continued to bless me with a child, and then He cured me of ovarian cancer(more then 13 years ago), and continues to bless me each and every minute of each and every day.
