What is greater than God, more evil than the devil; the rich want it, the poor have it and if you eat it you will die?

I don't understand how so many athiests will consider the possibility of beings existing outside our planet and even in the spiritual realm but won't consider the possibility of a Creator of humans and our universe who loves us and whom we can have a relationship.
Is it really more believable that intelligent little green men are going to someday take over the world than to believe in a God whose evidence we see everyday all around us?

1 Corinthians :11 3-10 states a womans head should be covered. Covered with what? A lace shroud like the spanish? A wrap like the arab? What does this mean I am a baptist and this is the first time I have paid attention to it and am curious to know, what am I supposed to cover my head with when I worship or pray?

Have you ever really grieved about something just because it is so offensive to God? Have you ever felt like you were carrying the burdens of others in your spirit?

When christians post a question contrary to their believes, they mock us and say we are mindless. Then on the other hand they think their stances are responsible and educated. Aren't we all just stating our own believes, who is the hyprocrite? Last I checked they can't prove that GOD does not exist, they just believe He doesn't.

think I'm drunk? Even if I was, it would be kinder to refer the drink to my insanity than my insanity to the drink.

By accepting tax exempt status, they are supposed to refrain from endorsing candidates, discussing legislation, etc. So, would freeing them to speak openly give the church a greater impact on society, or would breaking the political barrier further pollute the church, which has already been prophesied to turn from the true faith? Should we be content with muzzled ministers and rely on the Spirit of God to take up the slack, or should we require them to render unto Caesar and suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous politicization?
As anyone who goes to church knows, it's not hard to figure out where your clergy stands on issues and candidates.

Has anyone ever thought that the beleif that "God is in control of everything, and has a plan for us all" has been used as an excuse for people not to try to change the world? The beleif that everything happens as a part of God's great plan leaves you with the beleif that we are not in control, and whatever happens does so as a part of God's purpose for that individual. I know that in my past experience of being a Christian, I would look at global warming as just part of God's plan, and wouldn't worry about it because one day Jesus will come back and make the Earth new anyway, therefore it was not a matter that concerned me. The same as for the people suffering in the world, the children dying from abuse, the people being raped, the homeless, I saw it as part of God's plan for those people, & knew that he needed them to go through these things for some higher purpose. Does anyone feel that the main concern of Christians is merely to bring in more Christians?

I've rejoined the spiritual path after being away from it for almost a year and have been reading some heavy sacred texts from many different beliefs and religions.

More background on it can be found on my blog entry, "Spirituality and Religious Revelations".

Thanks ahead of time for sharing your personal spiritual/religious beliefs.

Safe to say that in being Born Again...We are subject to mistakes....Or mere failures? As we forgive those who trespass against us, and use the Church as a place of rumors and slander, and ultimately, as a route to appease their own faults, Instead of worship....As Jesus said to those who were ready to stone the adultress...."Let him who be without sin cast the first stone".....This is almost an exact mirror image of what I ask. As those who have stones in hand take a long look at themselves...all walked away. So...in conclusion, Is ex-communication a test to see if the one being slandered by the "stone casters" has the ability to forgive and keep on attending the church? Or has it become a method of blasphemous and sacreligious lynching parallel to the stoning Jesus thwarted with a few wise words? Have the 10 Commandments been amended to include #11-"Thou shalt lie through thy teeth to ruin the lives of others and place thyself in higher social standing among thy peers."?
