I can't have children and am now obsessing that I'm being punished for past mistakes.

I can't have children and am now obsessing that I'm being punished for past mistakes. By past, I mean in this life. (Mistakes I have made in this life.) Also, the reason I can't have children is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

If you truly understand Reincarnation you would know that being reborn as a person is one of the higher realms. It is not enlightenment but it is better than animals and bugs, and spirits and ghosts and such... it is not a bad thing. So if you were being "Punished" you would have come back as something else.

I am sorry that you can not have children... I worry about that my self. I try to keep it positive and say... "If I can't get pregnant then there must be a reason for it... like some foster child or orphan who needs me more.. that must be my path..."

If you mean punished for mistakes made in a previous life, the answer is no, you have never lived before, you are unique and as individual as all of us.

If you mean mistakes you've made in the past of this life, then perhaps you are, I don't know. Sometimes people do make mistakes that affect their future ... a person who drinks a lot of alcohol may get liver disease.

If you think you are seriously obsessing about it, then step back and try to get a better picture ... perhaps it's God's plan and the future is not set in stone. Remember how long it took Sarah to get pregnant :)

I would say no. We all make mistakes, but certainly one is not punished in this manner for that mistake. Who would be punishing you, and for what. No, with as little information as you have put down here, I would have to say, it appears to be just what it is, nothing more. Do not obsess about the past, do not give past mistakes any power whatsoever over your life.

No, I really doubt you are being punished for past mistakes. God, is not that mean. Sometimes our past mistakes cause certain consequences but I think it is probably a medical thing. Stop beating yourself up and ask God to give you some kids. Smile God loves you, don't dwell in the past, step out into the light of God and be at peace and live. I have known couples who couldn't have kids for years and prayed and trusted God and ended up with some beautiful children. Have faith.

Depending on the mistake, I'd say yes. As far as the children thing...Pray for children. Obsessing over anything is not a good thing. Be it cavalier ways in one's personal life, injuries to ones reproductive system, or using ones body as a chemical playground...There are many ways to have this problem. And sometimes wrong choices or wrong actions have conscequences and we can't have children.

If you feel under condemnation, realize that everyone has made some past mistakes. But you need to give these past mistakes to the Lord. Just pray to God about it. Repent for not trusting God loves you. That Jesus redeeming blood washes away all your sins. That He raised from the dead so, you will too.

It is also true that God can restore what the devil stole. I don't know your situation, but you can have children if you ask God for children. If not physically, then you probably can adopt. I don't think I can have more children anymore, because of my age. But God blessed me with children when I asked. My daughter has two wonderful girls and I get to watch them every week while my daughter & son n law work.

Consult a doctor about your problem. Depends on what mistakes did you do. Did you abuse yourself healthwise? Are you diabetic or suffering from ailment that may affect your ability to conceive? Before you let your guilt work against your will, do what a normal human being must do to find out.
I do not want to call it a punishment when you are referring to what you did as your past mistakes, call it a consequence or effect of the mistakes. That is how one should understand the saying "You reap what you sow".

There is the natural low of cause and effect. If you get a chylmidia STD and become sterile because of it the end result is not punishment, but is the effect of the risky behavior that you have been cautioned not to participate and now you find out why you were told not to do x y z.
