there was a question about Judas death that someone seemed to think contradicted itself whereas in matthew he hung himself and in acts his middle burst open and he lost his intestines wouldnt it be safe to say when judas hung himself his mid-section ripped apart

doesn't everybody else in america who isn't amish realize that they're automatically confined to the pits of hell according to the bible.
we operate around a piece of paper and worship material things. if the country stopped running the world would stop turning. It goes way beyond any moral or ethical choices we make. It's our daily lives that would cast us to hell.
This whole entire nation (along with others, don't get me wrong) revolves around meaningless crap. And everything thing that we do is a sin in the bible. So how can these do gooders who cast stones at such simplistic "abominations" can't see the abominations they commit everyday.
So if you're an american cafetera christian please explain to me why you're so righteous and heavenly and what you do that is seriously parallel to "bible" living...

We often surmise about the Meaning of Life (for human beings), and most xtians or religious folks will answer something along the lines of for the Glory of God, to live out the Gospel, to do God's Will, the earn a spot in Heaven and avoid Hell, etc etc.

So what do you think the Meaning of Life is for God? God miraculously popped into existence to create human beings to do his will? Sounds pretty vain and narcissistic to think that the meaning in his existence relies squarely on sitting around answering our prayers, but not interfering in worldly life, only bothering to insert his power at 2 times: during creation and during the rape of a virgin. There must be more to God's mysterious ways? What do you think God's purpose in the Universe is (independent of human worship)? Why was God created?

I can't speak for all but I think its because God as he appears in the sacred texts and is taught in churches is so anti-human.

Religiously people seem to have problems with humility when it comes to their origins but a self-defeating negativity when it comes to their destiny.

Humans can spread across the Universe, learn all there is to be known and will one day alter the fabric of space and time as easily as a child throws a ball.

Does accepting God mean bowing down to a higher power? What if you think humanity can be gods?

Okay so I'm in middle school. I am an American Muslim and I have been raised to be friends with al types of religions. I have Christian, Hindu, Buhddist, & Jewish friends. I am always nice to everyone becuase I dont knoe...thats how i am!
So this one girl at school is always rude to me. She is a very religious Christian. I really dont care what relgion someone is I judge people based on their personality. This girl is always veryy veryy rude to me. At times I think it is because I am Muslim. My friends have cross necklaces, I dont say anything! Its none of my business to tlak about religion. i am not supposed to and I dont!
This girl in my class flirts alot with other boys while she has a boyfriend. I really dont say anything to her but I think its wrong because she tells her boyfriend she loves him.
Whenever I try to be nice or smeet to this girl she always acts rude toward me.
I DO NOT BELiEVE iN ENEMiES, just so you people knoe.
I DONT HATE THiS GirL...
i just dislike her.
