Seventh day Adventist believe in Christ as their Savior as the first step in salvation. The second step in Salvation is to keep all 10 commandments as listed in Exodus 20. Most people who believe in Christ keep all but the 4th commandment.

The 4th commandment has to do with keeping the Sabbath. The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week and must be "kept" from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Only those people who believe in Christ and keep the Sabbath will go to heaven.

That summarizes what Adventist believe--believing in Christ and keeping the Sabbath.

The Adventist faith is in Christ and Sabbath keeping.

Hope this helps!

I'm a Seventh Day Adventist. When it comes to praying you can pretty much pray anyway you want. Pray for family friends and for Angles to be around you at all times Being a Adventist we are more prone to having Evil about us.We are different we go to church on the day the bible say is true. The good thing about our religion is that it follows the bible all the way not making up things as we go. If you believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ that well be such a beautiful day. And if you believe in the end times you can see that some of the prophecy are coming true.
If Jesus comes back soon you me be still alive and be taken up heaven and and never Know what it's like to die. That would be such a great reward. Seventh Day Adventist are very loving and giving people and truly the way Jesus would want you to love. Hope this help. Good books to read are Ellen g whites Great Controversy. The third coming.

Seventh day Adventist seem to try the follow the bible by the letter. They feel the Lord meant what he said in the old and new testament and nothing has changed. I dated a Seventh day Adventist girl many years ago and was impressed with their bible followings...Until....I saw a little to much emphasis put into the teaching of their so called "Prophet", Ellen G White. Kind of like Catholics and Mary.
