Because it's human nature to do so. If god created humans then he is responsible for that.

It's "human nature" to believe WE are right - the others must be at fault. We like to believe that we are right (good?).
I believe that's why we tend to look at the "other's" mistakes before we correct our own, which leads to distrust and eventually hate. We are not considerate by "nature". But what if we were?
If someone hurts you there is usually a reason behind it, unless it's an accident.
Think about what you may have done to give the "other" a reason to hurt you. - and apologize for "your" offence!
Lets say you stepped on someone's toe (actually or verbally). Our "natural" reaction is to retaliate. Remember that this comes "naturally" to you as well as to the "other". But in our "civilized" society we normally overcome the urge to retaliate and apologize, especially if it happened by accident.
If we perceive the "offence" as careless or intentional we are more likely to retaliate. We are not perfect! Neither is the "other". If we don't try to understand and forgive the "hurt" we are starting a chain of retalliations - a war of sorts!
In my opinion we could stop arguing and even fighting wars if only everybody were to use understanding, compassion and forgiveness.
Retaliation amplifies the conflict and produces more hurt.
Turning the other cheek ends the conflict and helps to heal the hurt.
Just imagine! If ALL humans would willingly (not because they have been told) act out of compassion and forgiveness toward the "others" there truly would be peace on Earth!
Jesus made it very clear that the 2 first and foremost commandments are:
to love God with ALL our being and above ALL "things", and to love ALL our fellow men & women, even if the may be our enemy. Any laws or "interpretations" deviating from those two are invalid according to Jesus.
I have no doubt that Jesus taught the right way. By the way, He was not the only one who taught compassion AND forgiveness as rules for life. But I believe He did it most clearly.
Here from the Q'ran:
"If any show patience and forgive, that truly would be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs." Qur'an: Sura 42:43 (Counsel)
So lets all hate evil - in ourselves FIRST!!

People judge each other because it makes them feel better about themselves. Which is really sad. Especially when you consider the fact that aspects that we do not like in others are usually present in ourselves, but we refuse to acknowledge them, cause it would make us feel bad about ourselves.
As for God judging us, Plato (he is someone who actually existed before the Bible was written) said that mankind should not create a being that makes the rest of us fearful of our lives. Yet that is what we have done and his name is God.
But assuming that God does exist, and that God is sitting in judgement of us, he has some nerve. He has done worse mistakes than anyone in the world.
So what gives him the right to sit in judgement of us.

We judge people because we forget we are spirits having a human experience rather than humans having a spiritual experience. And I think the thinking that God is judgmental is a fallacy. That's us humans projecting our human nature onto God because we can't truly fathom what "unconditional love" is. God's love is unconditional and therefore nonjudmental. What would be the point of unconditional love if there were certain conditions or requirements attached to it? Then it wouldn't be unconditional then would it? It would be a contradiction.
It's so crazy that people see this contradiction right before their eyes, but deny that it exists. Think about it. Unconditional love is just that -unconditional. That's means no judging, condemning, etc. It can't be both ways.

I'm sick and tired of God always judging everybody... thinking He's better than everybody else. Just because he created the World and gets a capital "H" when being referred to as "Him or He" doesn't mean He should always be stickin' his nose where it doesn't belong. I guess he did create humans in his own image 'cause there are a lot of judgemental people out there. It's like totally annoying.

It sure is God's job.
I don't know why people judge each other. I think they do it because it makes them feel like they are in control. When in fact they are very much out of control.

Christians judge what is evil while on this earth and we judge within the church to keep it pure. Both are mandated in Scripture.
God however is going to judge everyone on the last day!

It's true! Judging people is God's job. But because of our fallen nature, we sin. Therefore, we judge people.

Absolutely, people judge because of their human nature. Fear is also a factor in judging because they do not understand something. Other times it is plain ingorance.
Cheers!

We are supposed to judge people for their crimes against society. Otherwise it would be a lawless society.
As far as judging their souls, it is God's job. We are told, however, to judge their actions....this way you can know whom they serve, God or the father of the world, Satan.
Lots of satan-servers here, it seems.
