doesn't everybody else in america who isn't amish realize that they're automatically confined to the pits of hell according to the bible.
we operate around a piece of paper and worship material things. if the country stopped running the world would stop turning. It goes way beyond any moral or ethical choices we make. It's our daily lives that would cast us to hell.
This whole entire nation (along with others, don't get me wrong) revolves around meaningless crap. And everything thing that we do is a sin in the bible. So how can these do gooders who cast stones at such simplistic "abominations" can't see the abominations they commit everyday.
So if you're an american cafetera christian please explain to me why you're so righteous and heavenly and what you do that is seriously parallel to "bible" living...

oh but being a capitalist is a sin and you shouldn't have to worry about making "enough" money to support your family because people are supposed to live off the land and support their families by..oh you know slaughtering your own chickens and cooking your own kill. building your own house and not to occupy your time with useless things or nothing at all. Some of you need to think a little deeper than the surface and that's the point of my question.
fortunately it seems as though some of you understood.

What are you talking about? Are you saying that christians shouldn't follow the bible? That would make being a christian rather difficult, wouldn't it?
There is nothing wrong with capitalism. It certainly isn't a sin to want to make enough money to support your family. It isn't even a sin to want a few luxuries, as long as they don't rule your life and you keep your priorities straight. The important things in life are to live the best life you can while helping others do the same. Who or what you worship, or preferrably don't worship, has very little to do with anything.

Well, Thank God you are not God. It is funny how man can judge more harshly than God at times. Jesus Christ paid the price of all my sins and the sins of all mankind. So Heaven is obtained because of trusting in Christ not because His followers are so wonderful. God gave us the 10 commandments to show us that we cannot possibly live up to His standard. It shows us the need of the Savior. Those who have Jesus need have no fear.

Well my views are communist but I'm not sure it can be made to work in practice.

I wish the US had left Cuba to its own devices.
