Oh, I'm religious all right. I follow the religion of do the right thing and don't be judgemental. It has no official name, I call it the decency religion. You don't need religion to be "saved". Religion, in and of itself, won't save you from anything. There is no "right" religion. If there were, there would be these debates or even this section. Do what you feel is right. Nothing can save you from anything, there might not be anything to be saved from. Not the most popular answer but at least I thought it out before typing a bunch of nonsense. Thinking for yourself never hurt either.

As a Wiccan, I say that the "right" religion is the religion that calls to you, that fulfills you, that makes your spirit soar, and that helps you to be the best person you can be. As far as I (and many other Wiccans) are concerned, all religions are paths to the Divine (different roads, same destination) -- and no one needs to be "saved", because the God and Goddess love all living things as Their children; if there is an afterlife of happiness, no one will be turned away, including atheists and agnostics. Truly unconditional love!
"Nor do I demand sacrifice; for behold, I am the Mother of all living, and my love is poured out upon the earth." -- from The Charge of the Goddess
If you're seriously looking for a spiritual path that suits you, you might find the Belief-O-Matic quiz at Beliefnet.com both fun and educational:

It matches you up with the closest religion or philosophy based on your answers.

Well...let me see. I don't consider myself a religious person. If I had to say, I would be Christian.
I dont' like religion b/c it separates people and is the cause of hatred and wars. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I believe in the entire bible. In the bible, Jesus says the only way to the Father is by me. (John 14:6). There are religions who don't believe in Jesus. Which is a big controversy. Some people say they believe in God, but not His Son. The bible says you can't do that. In Mat 3:16-17, God says that this is His Son and he's pleased. In John 14:10, Jesus says I am in the Father and He is in me.
You don't need a religion to be saved. First let me explain saved. The bible says (Romans 10:9) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you're saved.
We need to be saved b/c of man's relationship with God. Ever since what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, God and man hasn't had a good relationship b/c of their sin or disobedience. But then God sent Jesus to be a remedy to the broken relationship. B/c of Jesus, we now have the opportunity to be right with God again. Jesus died and took on our sin, he paid our debt. We do have choice. You choose to accept Jesus or not. But God is God and there will be a time where you have to give an answer to what you've done with that choice and your life. Then you'll have to own up to the results of that choice.

im a catholic girl, and i was raised in the catholic church. im not going to tell you that being a catholic is the right religon cause i dont aggre with it sometimes, but what im going to tell you is that you should believe in a god, like if you want to be a christian or a jew, it doesnt matter, either way Jesus came down to earth to save all who belive and those who dont, but why does it matter? should you not just live your life as a good person just because its the right thing to do? do you have to be saved to do the right thing? religion is a mind game that some play and some dont get but still play at it cause its a game to try and win with yourself

Not a religion just a relationship with God. People think just going to church on sunday reading ur bible being a good person and blazy bla will get you saved thats all well and good but theres more. I can only speak from expirience when I was down only Jesus lifted me up and not when I was half living for Him but when I just surrendered myself. (Not trying to offened any body just saying what has truly helped me)

Christianity is the one and only true religion. True Christianity is the religion that adheres to and follows God and His word. True born again Christians are what makes up the religion of Christianity.
John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Messianic Jew. My religion is right because God does hear and Answer, Loves and Guides, and I just know it truly in my heart. You want to be saved because you want to be safe and healthy have Gods protection and his unfailling love. You want to be saved and much more reasons.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Him. Jesus was not overly fond of religion, actually. He said to feed the hungry, visit those who are in prison, and care for the widows and orphans. THAT was his idea of religion.
I agree.
