I won't open an umbrella inside. I did that once to prove to my family how silly superstitions are, and later that same day I was hit by an exploding aerosol can.

Yes I'm superstitious and I'm superstitious about everything. Especially since I'm from a Mexican family we believe in everything from past lives to a broken mirror.

I get superstitious when I comment on something that went well. For example, if one of my family members is doing great, and I tell this to someone, I say and do KNOCK WOOD. Isn't that silly, but I always think telling someone about my own or a loved one's good fortune will jinx it.

Hmm, I'm not particularly superstitious, but sometimes I will keep the fortune paper slips out of fortune cookies for a few weeks and see if they actually happen, or else use them as positive affirmations to cheer myself up (LOL).

My mom claims that if you point to a rainbow in the sky, you'll get a wart on your finger. I know it's lame, but I refuse to point at rainbows when I see them.

I like to think that I am too rational for that stuff. But you know, I will avoid the number thirteen.
