it's a hard one but we were told to forgive as we have been forgiven. If the murderer genuinely repented and believed in Jesus then they would be a new creation in Christ and yes they would go to heaven. We are only able to forgive such a person with God's help, not by our own strength. Just look at the Amish last year. I really admire how they had grace and forgiveness.
How about this, what if your child were the one who was the murderer? What if your child had a mental illness or got into drugs or crime and ended up killing someone? Then he got saved, sober and healed in prison? Would you want God to have mercy on him and give him a second chance?

The Bible says that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Everyone is a sinner and all sins are equal in the eyes of God. This means that murder is just as bad as a lie. If you ask forgiveness of your sins and repent of them and ask Jesus to take over your life then you will go to Heaven. Once you do this, there is nothing you can do that will keep you out of Heaven. I believe that is would be almost impossible to forgive someone who murdered my child or family member, but it is not up to us to forgive them. Jesus died for us on the cross, and is the ultimate sacrifice.

Ask and you shall recieve, knock and the door will be opened to you. If a person repents their sin it means that they fully understand the wrong they did and give their life to God, and ask forgiveness in Jesus name (who already paid your price for you) and you will be forgiven. Repent is not only confessing with your mouth, it is making right what you did wrong unless to do so would increase anothers pain. So if you lie, confess to the Lord and to the person you lied to and about. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and saviour and ask Him to forgive your sins, then turn away from sinful ways. Keep his commandments and trust in Him in all things. You need to remember that you will be held to the same standards you impose on others around you. (Judge not lest ye be judged). It would be hard to forgive a murderer, however, we have to remember that the person that was murdered was not ours, that person already belonged to God and is with Him in Heaven. That person has it far better than any of us here on earth. If the Lord can forgive the murderer so should we.... God Bless....

1)yes, if you are truly sorry in your heart for what you did then you will, and that is why there should be no death penalty!!!!
2)you wouldnt get into 'heaven' if you were not able to fully forgive that person for killing your family member. Eventually you would forgive them, trust me on this. Because I truly believe that before you die everyone will have the chance to get on the correct path. (unless your life was cut short, and even then maybe that is still true... I just don't have the answer for that one)

If someone kills someone else and truely repents, that is, believes Jesus the Christ is Lord and was raised from the dead and acknowledges before God that they have sinned and are worthy of death, then YES they will go to Heaven. And if you lie and repent, you will also go to heaven.
And if you had a family member killed and refuse to forgive the killer then "With what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." (Matthew 7:2 NKJV). That is, you too are a sinner who has comitted crimes worthy of death. Have you ever hated someone? If so you have comitted murder in your heart (1 John 3:15). And any act of selfishness is hate, and a sin against God and humanity. Remember that all Adam had to do was dissobey a simple command to bring death in the world, and every sin causes death, which is why the punishment for sin is death.
So if you do not forgive someone who has sinned against you, God won't forgive you either (Matthew 6:14-15), because you have both hated, and therefore comitted crimes worthy of death. (Romans 6:23)
But if we realize we ourselves are sinners, and humble ourselves before God's mercy no longer trying to justify our own actions or claim ourselves to be good, He will forgive us and cleanse us, since Jesus has payed the death penalty in full on our behalf. God does not desire for any to perish, or for our cycle of hate and distruction to continue. He only desires us to stop the stupidity and live in the Love He intended for us to live in. (Matthew 22:36-40)

Yes, if you repent and follow Jesus, you have a hope of heaven.
Remember the good thief on the cross? He asked Jesus to remember him in His Kingdom. At that moment, he repented. Jesus promised him that on that day, he would be with Him in paradise. This is one of the best examples of repentence, even at the hour of death, and a person being rewarded with heaven.
It would be very hard for me to see the murderer of my loved one go to heaven, but as a Catholic Christian, I know I must forgive, because Jesus forgives me.

thats a hard question actually but i'll try to answer based on what i have heard. satan removes our shame or fear to do evil things but when we have done things he will probably return back that shame and leads us to repent in what we have done. jesus forgives his apostles in their sins especially when he was already ressurected. we know peter who denied him but still he contineud to appoint him as preacher so their is the forgiveness. then he has set peter as the prince or way before we enter heaven. looking at peter's situation that he repented on his sins, we can say that there is no obstacle that we can enter heaven. others also say that if you repent of your sins, you will still be on the purgatory for a short time for preparation to heaven. thank you and this answer is based only in what i've heard and read.

If the repentance is real yes. if not no.
The theme of heaven is harmony. If such was to happen you would not meet that persons soul If you did not want to. But if you wish to you can to receive a soul to soul repentance.

If the person sincerely repented of his/her sins, then the answer is yes. Because God is merciful and forgiving! He said in the Bible, "If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins." (1 John 1:9). Heaven is filled with forgiven people . The Bible say, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 2:23), that includes you and me. I'm sure you have not only offended some people but also God. And, that makes you as guilty as the person who killed your child - whether that sin is big or small... it is still sin, and sin is transgression of God's law punishable by death - according to God's law! But, because of God's mercy and grace, He sent Jesus, His Son, to die on the cross for your sins and mine - to redeem us from the penalty of sin. By dying on the cross in our stead, Jesus paid the penalty required of God's law. The Bible says that this Jesus is God's gift to us... a show of His goodness and mercy ... and to all who come to Him and repent, or turn away from their sins, accept and submit to His Lordship, will not only be allowed to enter His kingdom, but will also have the right to be called children of God (John 1:12). Anyone who truly repents will receive forgiveness. But, it does not end there, God wanted us to live a life that is holy, righteous, and obedient to His words - just like Jesus. When we obey Him, our way of living will also change. We start to become honest, kind, humble, loving, joyful, and true in our words and actions. St. Paul calls this, "a new creation in Christ Jesus." Because, it is no longer we who controls the throne of our hearts but Christ, therefore, we act or behave according to His nature.
May I suggest that you read the Bible seriously starting from the book of John to Revelation (of the New Testament) to help you see things from the Christians' point of view. Take your time. Don't be in a hurry. My own life got changed after I took time to read and understand it. If you truly want to know why peoples' lives are in great great mess, read it and you will see life differently ... and most likely, you will find the answer/solution to the problems of your own life and others. Who knows what might become of your life!

If you are truly sorry for your sins, God will forgive you no matter how bad your crime is. Jesus was nailed to the cross and forgave the sinner who repented . He went to paradise that day. However, crimes still have to be paid in human laws. You are still accountable to your crimes in human laws. In God's law, your sins are swiped clean, given you are really repentant.
