Is that a good thing? I read books that proclaim that America is a modern Sodom and Gomorrah. But then you look at Europe and you see secularism in action.

in 180 AD He wanted to streamline Christianity into a single bible. He published a list of books that he considered to be herecy.

Why do you supposed he considered those books to be herecy? Maybe because they were not about controlling the masses.

1 Timothy 2:12 " I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent."

I don't believe that Jesus felt this way at all.

The early Catholic church was on a mission to discredit Mary Magdalene. Why?

I wish everyone to have a terrific new year. I know this question will get reported and I really don’t care but I want to go on record with the Lord as saying that God is good and how can you all not see his power? Especially for the ones that have little ones. do you actually think he/she was created from just a egg and one sperm? We are not here just because of science. Everyone is not privilege enough to have kids. Everything in this world cannot be explained just from science. There is a higher being called God and he is great. My resolution is for everyone to find their way to Jesus and accept him as their Lord and Savior. Please. I am a living testimony of his blessing. I have been through so much in my life and I give all my thanks and praises to God. I am a Christian and I can admit that not everything in the bible can be explained or is truth, but we cannot deny the love and truth with Jesus Christ. I carry his name and am proud to be called a CHRISTian. God bless everyone.

I'm having great difficulty understanding why the world remains the way it is. There is a Loving all-powerful God we are taught. We live amongst murderers, thieves, an other criminals. We're taught right from wrong. We have freedom of choice. Many in so-called Third World Countries are starving or dying everyway. Some are starving here in the United States. We wtness war and other atrocities. There is evil everywhere.
The bible tells us of other earlier atrocities. Nothing seems to change. Nothing has really changed.
And so our Heavenly Father?
Why is it that the same sins are committed day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, decade after decade, etc. etc. etc. with no end in sight.
If there is indeed a God, why have so many suffered..?Some of whom may not have even been introduced to the bible or its teachings?

What is a good approach. Do I hire de-programmers? Anyone tried that? I am in Canada, so it is difficult to get information on this cult, but what I do see is very troubling. Thanks.

From February to about June when I was 17 I had a b/f I was completely in love with (the only other man I ever truly loved besides my hubby). He moved, long distance didn't work out, we had a messy break up. I cried for three months straight. I started going out again in September just because I was sick of being alone. I started up with a guy in December. Two days before Christmas the guy was staying over (yes at my parents house). I was sleeping and I heard a knocking on my window. I woke up (guy next to me didn't) and I saw the ex stopped in mid-knock looking through my window with a horrified look on his face. He gave me a disappointed look, turned and walked away.
He was supposed to be about 1,000 miles away at the time. A little over a week later I thought I saw him walking down the street (small town) and I asked a person we were both friends with if he came back to visit. That person said he moved back two days ago.
Premonition, dream, or reality - your thoughts?

When one makes a promise to God to no longer do something (such as drink alcohol), what happens if that person goes back on the promise and does what they promised not to do, even if its just once? Does God get angry and turn His back on them? Can the person repent and be forgiven again? Scripture verses for proof would be a big help. Thank you!

10And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

12When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

13And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

...........
16And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

17And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

This is Cain's crime and his punishment. He is cursed to be a fugitive and a vagabond as part of his restitution for what he did. But then, after the sentence is given, he goes out and founds and builds a city.

How is that the life of a fugitive and a vagabond?

why doesn't the faith healers go to the children's hospitals where the kids don't have money to be bilked and perform the miracles for good not for profit?

someone needs to remove the "not for profit" status of these charlatans

why you call muslims extremist ?????
aren't you too hasty in making your decisions ...
if you think calmly you will come to know that in all those parts of world (((where muslims are supposed to be acting as terrorists)))...feelings of muslims are greatly suppressed ..their religion was greatly under the threat of those who tried to blame them ...
