What tribe did Jesus belong to?

Jesus was of the tribe of Judah.

He was not of the tribe of Levi. Not being of the tribe of Levi he had no right to function as a preist.

Having no right to function as a priest, he had no right to offer sacrifices for sins. Having no right to offer sacrifices for sins he had no right to offer himself as a scrifice for your sins.

And since the whole thing was on his initiative, and he did not involve any priests of the tribe of Levi, it was not valid.

It was a nice try, but not valid.

How does Jesus differ from any of us if we are all sons and daughters of God,

If Jesus was not God, not divine, then what was he? Half and half man/God? A hybrid?

Suppose He appeared as an ordinary man concerned with modern day problems (i.e. calling for justice and unity, advocating an end to extreme poverty and starvation in a world of plenty, degradation of our planet Earth and our quality of life through greed, intense competition and division). Would this be so hard to vision? Consider the fact that 2,000 years ago Christ talked about the problems of the day and in terms everyone could understand (i.e. fishermen and the mostly illiterate masses).

This is a question to open your mind a little so please give some thought and leave out the sarcastic comments...I think it is quite relative to what's about to happen...

Many people think Paganism is just a bunch of kids that like to wear mascara (regardless of sex) and have stupid hairdos and like to talk in a really morose voice and babble about the moon and write crappy poetry. Many people think Pagans and Wiccans make up fantasy stories about vampires and dragons, pretty much whatever foolish notion that pops into their head.

I am NOT one of these people. I'm just wondering what Pagans and Wiccans have to say about this?

I saw a painting of Jesus on an episode of National Geographic. In the painting Jesus was on the cross and up in the sky in the distance was something that looked like a UFO. The painting is very old. I don't remember who painted it. I thought it was very interesting that a picture of Jesus that was made hundreds of years ago would have a UFO in it. Has anyone else seen this picture and know who painted it?

Someone posed this challenge:

Write a complete narrative of what happened after Jesus' crucifixion, using all four Gospels, and leaving out no details from any of the Gospels.

I tried to do this, but I could not. Can anyone do this? IF NOT, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS QUESTION. AGAIN: PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY TRY TO DO THIS AND TELL ME THE RESULT.

In the bible it tells of a mortal, John the Baptist, baptising the sinless Jesus. The baptism is the cleansing of previous sin, with the rising out of the water symbolising being clean, and having a fresh start. If Jesus was sinless, why the baptism?

How does the new liberal/left siding with genetics exclusively for sexual behavior conflict with how they say every other behavior in catagories of people is environment?

Isn't fair to say it's always Half genetics and half environment/experience when it comes to behavior? Unless you will try to say homosexuality is not a behavior-- and all behavior DOES in fact come down to choice of actions, in that case, how do you explain bisexuality? transvestites, S&M, and the other multitudes of sexual deviances (meaning exclusively the deviation from the "norm' in nature)?
Being attracted to children is extremely popular all throughout the world, and goes back through the ages, People throughout the world STILL take child brides of 9. but you would never dare to say that they can not control their actions because perhaps they were 'born' like that.
So what if they were, so what if they were molested on top of that? Controlling ones behavioral actions does indeed come down to choice.
