Evolution is not science, it is metaphysics. There is no scientific basis for it, there is no evidence, the Scientific Method does not demonstrate it. It is the religion of secular humanists. It shouldn't be propagated with taxpayer dollars.

Evolutionists are free to practice their religion, but they shouldn't be allowed to call it science, because it isn't.

When a scientist demonstrates evolution to me, then I will believe it. I just don't have enough faith to accept such a fantastic theory. I guess I'm just skeptical.

Good link to check. Thanks. Your scenario is as the oil telling the water that it doesn’t exist or lies to be known, just because the two don’t mix. Very interesting.

In the full spectrum of the rainbow of creation, each view makes a color, and the colors are separate. Maybe one view is correct or maybe more than one is.

My feeling is this. If this rock (earth) ever formed and was a molten mess (and maybe a little hot as well), then where and how did life, truth, love, and thought ever get established? Can my genealogy be linked to a volcano? (???) Is a rock cognizant of the fact that is father to life?

Maybe the schools should teach the “pick one” theory, and then people would have a basis for making their choices. Out of all the choices, I would believe that only one expresses true history.

The Catholic church was dead in the water hundreds of years ago. I don't really care what the church embraces religiously. The church also "embraces" young children, and protects the perpetraters. If Jesus were to return to be the head of the Catholic church, that would mean He approved of thier actions all the way through. THAT IS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!
People should get away from archaic doctrines, that crushes woman to the lowest, the least, the servant of all. Sold for nothing into slavery.

Read the one about the judge ruling on the teaching of ID in schools. His argument is that according to the Constitution we cannot teach about religion in public schools. ID, since it involves belief in God is considered religious, and therefore not fit for the public square or school. But teachings about the denial of God are fit for the public square. But is a religion in and of itself.

Consider this possibility. Let's say just for a second that the ID camps have it correct. Then according to this judge, we can only teach lies in school. Let's now say the ID camps have it wrong. Then the judge looks correct...we wouldn't want to teach lies in school, now would we? But...then again, we still do. We still teach about fictional works of writing, mythology, etc. Why then can't we allow ID time in school? Is there a bigger problem with it than what you're revealing? Why doesn't it deserve a mention as an alternative view?

I'm not sure which part of that site you wanted me to look at. There were like a half a dozen different stories.

Many ...believe in evolution for the simple reason that they think science has proven it to be a `fact' and, therefore, it must be accepted... In recent years, a great many people...having finally been persuaded to make a real examination of the problem of evolution, have become convinced of its fallacy and are now convinced anti-evolutionists."

If anyone knows intellectual (and every other form of) dishonesty, it's Creationists. They've made a "science" of it.

They fling terms back at anyone who dares point out the flaws in thier thinking, its no more worrying than if he had called you a ******.

Oh and MAV no-one is saying you can't teach ID in schools, just not as science, because its not, in fact your comparrison with works of fiction and myths is particularly apt.

I agree it is hilarious that a cretinist or IDiot would accuse anyone of intellectual dishonesty.

But, it is their only defense since all of their ideas, if one is generous by calling their myths ideas, are flat out lies, unfounded, unprovable, ect....

Very interesting reading at that website. So-called born again or far right Christianity could very well be labeled 'Intellectual Terrorism.'
