Well, you are obviously not educated in Science, if you believe what you wrote.

I'll try to write simply because it seems you are not well versed in the English language.

The Bible gives no reliable age for the Earth. It does not attempt to.

Science is able to educate because it approaches questions of a scientific nature with a rigorous and reliable method of asking and answering questions.

Science doesn't simply assume something to be true... it tests the entire process used to find the answers it is seeking.

The study of the Bible begins with an assumption that it is flawless and accurate, and therefore offers no external substantiation. The study of the Bible doesn't even question the origins of the Bible, believing it to be completely accurate and "hand-delivered" of God.

In the end I would rather place my trust in something that is honest enough to question itself.

As for ages and such, science has hard and verifiable facts to lend credence to the techniques it uses to date things. Ice caps have been dated as far as 600,000 years back. Geological features show structure which demonstrate age, without the use of tools such as carbon dating. Even the "oft maligned" tool of carbon dating is quite reliable, with the sources of error well-understood.

In the end, science recognizes its errors and takes them into account. Those trusting in the Bible assume there is no error whatsoever and reject any indication thereof.

Which doctor would you trust... the one who explains that this treatment you are about to undergo has "x, y, z" risks, or the one who says "I'm perfect, trust me.... because God says so"?

D A T I N G

The age of matter can be determinated by its radioactive half-life. for instance carbon-14 dating can guess the age for up to 50,000 years... potassimum-14 can date back billions of years.

The universe is several billion years old according to experts.

Good to see morons spreading hate, fear and ignorance again!!

the term world when used by scripture refers to the life you personally experience on planet earth,so in reality the world as far as the individual is concerned began at the moment of birth but as human we rely on consensus history this is illusion
