Would it be okay and not disrespectful to get a Veve tattooed?

A veve is a symbol drawn on the floor during a Vodun ritual. Each one is associated with a certain god/goddess.

First off you're 13, no one is going to take you seriously about your tattoo. I mean it will go over well for the young girls, but then as you grow the tattoo will begin to stretch and look less of what it was originally. Best advice is to get the tat done then ask the person who did it if they do tune ups. That way you can save up and go every other few months to get it filled in so it doesnt look smudged or stretched, as for school they cant kick you out for it because there is nothing in the student handbook that says you cant have it, Unless its obviously offensive.

No. It is disrespectful to get a Veve tattoo because a veve is a drawing used to summon Vodou spirits. Why would you want something on your body that would signify trying to hurt others...???
