How does Jesus differ from any of us if we are all sons and daughters of God,
If Jesus was not God, not divine, then what was he? Half and half man/God? A hybrid?

yl: not many do, no. Catholics believe Jesus was GOD himself on earth.
Many many protestants do not believe that at all.
I'm questioning the reasoning of Protestants like this on who was God's son, and God's children, and what exactly Jesus was.

Also: if Jesus was God's only begotten son, then who was Adam? Chopped liver?

God created all life not just man. Man did not spring from his loins, he created them. We are not God’s Children we are his creation.

You have several questions there. Jesus Christ is part of the godhead or the trinity. He is the Son of God. He was physically the son of God, as well as spiritually the Son of God just like the rest of us are spiritually the sons and daughters of God. Adam and Eve were created by God "from the dust of the earth", definitely NOT chopped liver. They were probably the only people who lived on earth without belly buttons, but I've never met them so I can't say that for sure.

Catholics have faith that Mary would desire to be commemorated not worshiped. Any Catholic worshiping Mary would not comprehend Catholicism! The Hail Mary is a prayer that basically describes how the Lord chosen her to mom the Son. The latter area inquiring for her to 'pray for our sins' is using the fact she became assumed into heaven (as in, did not die) so she would desire to be close with God. somewhat, Catholics pray by the lifeless, to not the lifeless. all and sundry who truthfully worships Mary isn't Catholic... playstation Catholics additionally call the Church 'mom' or the 'bride of Christ'.

Most Protestants believe that Jesus was a manifestation of God, both human and divine. We might all be God's children, but we are not of the same substance as God.

Jesus was God in the form of man. just because he was in a human body does not mean he was less perfect. since we are only human we cannot really understand how Jesus is God and Gods son but he was just the same. its called faith. also adam was just human. he was the first human but still only human. he was made to Be LIKE God but wasnt him. Jesus was. I like to call Jesus my savior not my Father of brother or something, cause that is what he is.

Protestants believe that Jesus is God.
The Bible teaches that only those who believe in Jesus are His sons.
Jesus differs from us because He is God and we are not.
Adam was a creation, Jesus is eternal.
If the premise of a question is wrong, as all of yours are, the question is not valid.

I believe you have got it wrong. Protestants do believe that Jesus is God. They believe in the trinity - God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit.

If Protestants don't believe Jesus was GOD, he was the 'son', aren't we all God's "children"?
Most Protestants DO INDEED KNOW that JESUS is indeed THE GOD!
HE is BOTH == Man & GDOD!

As far as I am aware the concept of the Trinity is common to Protestants and Catholics? I may be wrong.
