Light beer is a crime against nature and should only be given to children ........... as punishment. Any one who makes and sells light beer should be prosecuted for fraud for calling it beer and anyone stupid enough to buy it should lose the right to vote because they are not capable of making a rational decision. Light Beer like substances have less flavor, less ingredients, less alcohol, take less time to make and cost the consumer just as much as the regular swill. You have to drink more of it to get the same effect, which is why they push it so vigorously. It is a rip-off. If it ain't black, it ain't beer.

Lite beer may or may not contain less alcohol than the regular type of that beer. Mainly, lite beer was produced by Miller to attract more woman to drink because the lite version has fewer calories. It gained major popularity during the 80's health craze. In all actuality, water is much more healthy and tastier than lite beer. You could spruce up the water with vodka or another alcohol you like if you just want the affects of alcohol. Every hear of the expression, "On the rocks?"
