please don't say they don't have faith

why doesn't the faith healers go to the children's hospitals where the kids don't have money to be bilked and perform the miracles for good not for profit?

someone needs to remove the "not for profit" status of these charlatans

I don't know much about "miracle healers", but I know that some servants of God who go to the hospitals, and pray for the people, at least in my country, but I think there is some of them in there too.
One brother here prayed for a little kid who has broken-down the collarbone, and thank God, she was cured.
The man cannot do miracles but God can. There are somethings we will only know in the eternity, if God will want.
I was cured from a illness for mercy of God, after a after a prayer.
God bless you.

there are already doctors at the hospital so the miracle healers need to get their own gig, the miracle healers should not horn in on the doctors place, the docs have to make a living somehow

A good healer need not to be physical present to heal. Many `good healers' have already done that through distance healing. It is also violating the healer laws to heal others if the the recipents/sick do not give permisiion for the healer to heal.

What makes you think they don't?

Fr. D'Orio, the Catholic priest known for bringing about healing, visits hospitals all the time.

I know someone who was seen by Fr. D after a bad accident. She had been told that she'd never walk again -- but she's walking around today just as well as any of the rest of us.

Becuase they are all fakes, sure they can heal the occasional psychosematic illness but so could a witch doctor waving a bone rattle. But in an hospital setting how is he going to get in the paid shills that pretend to be cured to convince the others of his power?

I think some of them actually do go, but the point is, for it to "work" the person being healed has to believe that it will work.

Please don't post a question and then dictate what the answer must be. If you only want certain answers, this is not the place to post your question.

This is nothing more than soap box rhetoric hidden in the form of a question. I agree with your message, basically, but I don't agree with your methods.

Because then their charade would be seen for what it is and they no longer would receive the money to live the very opulent lives they are now living. If foolish Christians would stop sending these people money this would not be an issue. If you are a Christian and you are offended by what I said, sorry, its the truth. instead of sending your money to these people, give it to the one who you see is in need. Your neighbor, or co-worker, or the stranger on the street who's shoes have holes in them, or any number of ministries that don't pretend to know God-but do, and demonstrate it by loving those around them...give to them in His name. These schemers will receive their just rewards one day from the very God who they say they represent but obviously don't even believe in themselves.

It's not because it doesn't work, and it's not because they don;t have faith.

The medical profession doesn't have faith in something they can't see and touch, and sometimes it is very difficult for an alternative medicine practitioner to get their foot in the door.

True-they should be not for profit. They cannot go to hospitals and heal-they cannot heal in the first place. It is all a con show, and people do pay to be entertained.
