Then when Einstien came towards the end of His life, He concluded that there is a God. So if you wont believe men and women of God today;wont you believe Einstien who concluded that there more than likely is a God?

I remember seeing; and have seen bring it up multiple times. (BTW, Im Catholic) Where in the Bible does it talk about the final war/battle in Israel when Israel and a Western power (Who I think is America) will be on the edge of defeat against the "Bear" and the "Dragon" (Who I beleive to be Russia and China) and some Angel from Heaven comes down and destroys the forces opposing Israel?

It might not happen exactly like that, but thats just how I remember it. Im thinking it has something to do w/ Armagedon; but anyone out there that knows, can you please tell me where to find this passage?

Why do we believe in a book written by men. I know there's something bigger than us, but because a book saids that his name is Jesus, Hmmm...... I don't buy it.

The last I heard people were still trying to decide if the writings were actually by Judas and if the dates corresponded. Can anyone tell me what the latest news is? I can't seem to find much on the internet and I participate in any religions, so I'm running out of sources of info on the subject. I'm not asking the question to start debates or upset people, I'm just wondering from a scientific point of view what has been decided on those writings that were found.

People believe that we will live forever after death, but who's to say we haven't lived forever before birth? Who's to say that life is just a dream in the vast scheme of the universe? Who's to say that Earth isn't hell? Who's to say that we aren't capable of creating life and death and all the things that you think god is capable of?

Is it really too hard to grasp that we are really gods? Or must you believe the words of a book to truly understand spirituality?

The Jews are STILL the chosen people and it's dangerous to say that they are not; it lead to such things as the Inquisition and the Holocaust. Pauls said in Romans 11 they were, and yet many Christians apply an allegorical interpretation of the text, when it is not allegorical. Israel=Israel, not the Christian Church.

If a Non-Christian writes about another belief or religion, it does not bother me.In fact most of the time I do not read them. I do read the ones that are trying to say what is wrong with Christianity.

telling him:

islam: blah! blah! blah!
christianity: blah, blah, blah!
allah: blah,bla, blah
jesus: bla, blah, blah

that is what religions are all about

let him live like a free, happy and open-minded person.

your religion is good for, you only ( that is,a confused person who has forgotten to use his own mind)

so keep your dirty linen(religion) to yourself

don't try to spread this deadly disease, called religion

regards
god( allah, jesus,mohhammad, budda, etc,etc..)

The way I see things is that Islam is not only wrong but, has interfered in life details in a way that make it impossible for Muslims to brake the circle of poverty, ignorance and retadedness they are in now and forever if they don't open their eye and see the truth, and modify or desert that religion.

The obvious weak points are:

The way they claim Quran was gathered.

The gap between the oldest copy of Quran we have now and the date Muhammad died is 150 years.

Quran contradicts scientific facts (among them-to the Muslims surprise-the way embryos develops) and itself in many places.

Islam never ended slavery and still has doors for it to come back.

Islam legislation doesn't provide equal rights for human beings.

In an earlier post, just moments ago, a guy was asking a question about christians -- and he accurately pointed out that Hitler was among its members (raised Catholic and followed it, even wrote about it), and he made a few other points.

of course, one christian replied in a panic and said "Of course Hitler claimed to be a Christian. he was full of the devil, and a liar."

So, does that mean that everyone who claims to be a christian is full of the devil and a liar? or only those making the claim that you wish to keep out of your cult, so the cult's pretty and sparkly image can be "maintained"?

it's funny, isn't it, how someone is a christian when it does the cult some good, then the moment they do something bad, suddenly it's "oh, was never really a true christian" -- and they wash their hands of the "problem" and sneak away quietly, hoping nobody notices the connection?

christianity has been killing tens of millions for centuries. have you really just "never noticed"?

I, a few years ago coneverted to buddhism. I live in a primarly Christian area so I rarely ever get to meet another buddhist just on the streets, so I have some questions for all of you guys. To all that you have converted to Buddhism from another religion Ihave another question a little more in detail:
What religion did you convert from?
Why did you convert?
Do you know any one that converted because you did?
Have you noticed any changes in your life?
