If a Non-Christian writes about another belief or religion, it does not bother me.In fact most of the time I do not read them. I do read the ones that are trying to say what is wrong with Christianity.

I suppose it is more a matter of what you say and to whom you say it. Religion and politics are the two hottest button topics these days. Everybody has something that bothers them. It is their problem, not yours, until they take it out on you.

John 3:19-21:
19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.

These are the words of Christ, and they tell us exactly why human beings don't want to hear about him. Plain and simple, they don't want to admit to the evil they've done. It's obvious when you ask them why they won't accept Christ, and they say they are a "good person" and that that is enough. They aren't convicted of their sin, nor do they want to be; because that would entail facing the hurt they have caused others through their sin.

This is why "Jesus" is a dirty word for some people. The need for redemption, through Jesus Christ means they are sinners, and they don't want to hear, or think about, their sin.

If you give an honest and intelligent comment on Jesus, I don't think any normal Christian would be offended by it. In most cases, they'd probably try to find out why you believe what you believe. Yes, some would try to convert you, and that may come across as being offended, but they are usually just doing what they believe is right. Many so-called Christians (especially on Yahoo! Answers) will be offended by the comment. Not because it is wrong or misinformed, but because they fear anything that doesn't sit right with what their preacher has told them. A lot of Christians claim to be free-thinkers, but when you boil down to it, the bulk of them follow their pastor's lead and then attack Catholics for "depending too much" on their priests. That's what offends me.

I do not like to hear anyone blaspheming the name of my Lord Jesus Christ. That bothers me a lot! Let them say whatever they like about the other fake gods, I could care less.

Jesus is my true lord and savior and if people talk bad about him it is my right to take up for him because I love him.

because the cultists really get whipped up into a lather about their cutl icon. it's the crutch that gets them through life, and they hate to see its imperfections and errors pointed out, since it's all they have to lean on!
