Is tha devil really "Bad" if he takes people hoo have done bad and punishes them, if that makes sense tha fact that people worship that duzzent make sense they r worshiping somthing that punishes tha bad????

I am more an animist than anything, and I definitly do not believe in the Judeo-Christian view of God. But I do know Christians who claim to really know God and feel him and have a relationship with him. They even draw strength from praying to him. So what kind of phenomenon is that? Are they just tapping into a different part of themselves? I just want to know what you all think.

Its a catholic belief, but theres nothing wrong with it. Millions of years ago, humans didn't get married before sex, love had nothing to do with it, the male would have sex with many females, its NATURE, ITS REPRODUCTION! Marriage wasn't around millions of years ago, people didnt love each other to have sex, being promiscuous was normal, to reproduce humans. And now Catholics believe i have to love somebody to use my natural reproductive organs, its perfectly natural and theres NOTHING wrong with it. God didn't say "Humans, love one another, look after my animals, oh and err, no sex before marriage, marriage will be invented in 2000000 years time and will involve YOU LOVING SOMEBODY"

I have seen many atheist websites that are intentionally trodding specifically upon those that are "religious", as though there is a major flaw and reduced intelligence of those that have chosen a religious perspective.
I find this interesting, as many claims of abuses and negligence are thrown onto the back of religion, as if there are no abuses or negligence upon the back of the perspective of atheism.

I propose that neither is superior to the other in regards to intelligence, as it is obvious that neither escapes the one common factor that is relavent to both theism and atheism - human beings and their inevitable search for higher status, whether as individuals or groups.
However, it can be said that many "religious" individuals, have been a greater benefit to the world because of spiritual convictions, than those opposed to such beliefs.
One thing is clear though, and that is that ignorance is an equal opportunity employer of both theists and atheists, with few exceptions
