Dharma is the teachings of Lord Buddha also known as the Truth. In Buddhism there is 3 Jewels known as Buddha, Dharma and Sangha where Tibetan Buddhist normally took refuge in.

Buddha is the state of Enlightenment where oneis free of the 6 realms of suffering, which include Hungry Ghost Realm, Hell Realm, Animal Realm, Demi God Realm,God Realm and Human Realm.

Dharma is the Teachings of Lord Buddha noted down by his Disciple, the notes are known as Dharma Text and is passed from Lord Buddha's time till now. There are many Modern Dharma Text that is re-written to taylor for the modern day people, Text like Buddha Blue Jeans, uses only a few points on Buddha's teachings. And if you want to finish all the text written down by Lord Buddha, It will take you a whole Life time to Finish

Sangha is basically known as Monk or Lama, the one who act on behalf of Lord Buddha to spread the Teachings or the Dharma from Lord Buddha.

Dharma is a term which generally means words that speak to the nature of being. They can come from anyone, but are usually associated with "teachers," monks, the historical buddha, etc. As Buddhism is not a religion, these are not meant to be words to be worshipped or venerated in any way, but, rather they are meant to be more like a finger which points to the Moon. So, the words, stories, anecdotes, etc are hopefully things that will assist you in finding the truth for yourself.

The Dharma is a number of texts which are considered sacred, or inspired, to Buddhists. The word 'Dharma" means teaching. Although there is no official canon of Buddhist texts, a number of these are generally considered inspired. (The Dhammapada, for example, is accepted by most Buddhists).

The Buddha,Dhamma and Sangha are the triple gems of Buddhism.

"It may be,Ananda, that to some among you the thought will come:'Ended is the word of the master;we have a master no longer.'But it should not,Ananda,be so considered. For that which I have proclaimed and made know as the dhamma and the Discipline, that shall be your Master when I am gone."

From the above statement, you can made your own conclusion as to the position of the dhamma relative to Buddhism.
