My neighbors are Jehovah's Witnesses - I observe them leaving for their services dressed up all the time. Even their kids are dressed like they're leaving for a day at the office. I admire their respect for their religion, but at the same time I wonder how much time it must take to get ready several times a week.

In 1999, the human population passed six billion. In 1985, it passed five billion. In 1962, it passed three billion. In 1800, it passed one billion. In 1 AD, the world's population, according to the censuses taken by the governments of that time, was only 250 million. At the current human population growth rate, considering wars and famines and all such variables, it would take approximately 5,000 years to get the current population from two original people.

Are there any other reasonable thought out evidence that proves this false and concludes humans have been around sugnificantly longer than this, using poplution as the variable? If so please present it! Or what is your personal opinion?

the church I go to now I've been at since I was eight years old. We just got a new Pastor, and I do not like him at all. He is all fake. Other people have left the church too now I am thinking I should too. I really do not like him and his sermon's, to me, are boring and I never listen to him cause I don't like him.. How hard is it to find another church I would actually like? Anyone else gone through this? Thank you.

If God places a 'call' on your life and says that His purpose for you cannot be defeated, is it possible to run from it if you make your own choices? He gave us free will... I am curious to know the opinions of others. What if it is something you don't want to do?

If the earth is as old as scientists say how come the population of the earths peoples are consistent with a society that existed about 4200 years ago (around the time of the flood) and not consistent with a society that would have existed millions of years ago?

This is one of the basic concepts of Christianity and no one can understand or comprehend it.

This is why there are soo many atheists just look at the answers. If I see one answer that makes sence I will be shocked

1. Lack of a good father figure.

2. Over controlling mother who may also bad mouth men all the time.

3. Being sexually molested as a child by someone of the same sex. Which usually turns out to be a trusted family figure.

4. Bad dating experiences during the awkward teen years or the cruel words from those of the opposite sex towards them when they were developing their sexual identity.

None of these have to do with genetics but they sure seem to come up as a common denominator within the homosexuals young life experiences.

Why do you believe the constitution? It's written by men, is it not?

You dont believe the word of the creator;but you'll believe the words written by creation? Is it just me or does something about this seem backwards?

You believe books from men and women who are scients;but you refuse to believe men and women of the true and living God(Jesus). Does this not seem odd to you?

Sense when did it make more sense to have more trust or faith in the creation over the creator?

It would be like robots having more trust in faith in other robots instead of the human(s) that created them.Is it not the same?

Romans 1:25-Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

When all religions are boiled down and the common demonitator is found, outside of praise to a deity, all religion are a guide line to the rule of living life peacefully.
