No I don't have this problem. My church is the same in every town and city everywhere around the world.

Do I ever! Finding a really good church is about as tough as finding a really good friend. I currently attend a non-denominational/baptist church although I am Anglican because the Episcopal Church is becoming non-trinitarian.
Here's what you do: look for a place that teaches good theology and reaches you at a deeply moral level. It's not about good music or spiritual theatrics. The sermon is important. But if the church still offers a good set of Bible classes and there's good people there, you may still want to stay. It can, never hurt, though, to just look around. I don't know what denomination you are but you may consider doing as I have done and attending outside of your "home" denomination.
Good luck!

BEFORE anyone goes to any church, YOU must decide WHY you want to attend:
**NOT because your family and/or friends (necessarily) do;
**NOT because there is a 'popular' pastor/minister, BUT ...
because ...
you have proven, 101%, (Thess. 5:21)
God is "Real" and you WANT Him in your life.
You have decided to live your life according to ALL 10 of His Commandments (Ex. 20: 3-17),
His BEattitudes (Matt. 5: 3-12),
and you will soon receive the Fruits of (His) the Spirit (Gal. 5: 22-25).
Everyones first choice should be to "Seek first the Kingdom of God" (Matt. 6: 33). Christ tell us to "Count the cost ..." (Prov. 20: 24-25) of following Him, then Commit fully to living a better way.
If you are sincere ... then pray for God's guidance. You can be a fabulous "Role Model" for your family and friends.
God Bless.
PS) try to remember this: when you go buy a new car, ghetto blaster, cell phone, X-box, or whatever ... you ALWAYS get an 'Operations Manual'. If you follow the directions in it, whatever you bought will perform the best, and last the longest, so you are a happy camper.
Well, the Bible is OUR/everyones "Operations Manual" ... but most people think they 'Know-it-all' and never really bother with it.
YOU appear to be a WISER individual ... because you are beginning to question.
Blessings.

We got a new pastor at our church as well who was not well liked. Instead of going out and searching for a new church, I just waited and prayed that the Lord would look after it. After two and a half years, our prayers were answered. He is leaving. I think that it was worth the wait. Just leave it to the Lord.

Wow! Most people just leave like some of the other folks in your church.
I know what you mean, there a lot of reasons why we would like to stay in our church; friends, workers, teachers, and most importantly that feeling of "its my home church". I have had the same problem.
Well, if I were you, I would have a talk with one of the Deacons or whatever you call that position in your church.
In most churches the Deacons with the approval of the membership Hire and Fire Preachers. It is their Job.
If the Deacons don't do anything about the problem, I would love for you to join my church.
Well, of course, I was just kidding a little bit. But, I am making the point that even though it will be difficult to leave, Most Christian churches will be glad to welcome you.
My Aunt Alma is a greeter. I can't wait until you meet her. She will shake your hand and then give a Christian Hug that will send the Holy spirit up and down your spine.
Well, of course, the chances are that you don't live in my town. But, I am sure you get the point. There are a lot of Aunt Almas out there in your neighborhood or town.
I have never met you but I love you and I am praying for you - right now as I type.
Jesus is my savior, too.

I don't know what I would do if I had to leave my church!!!!! I don't think I would ever have to though unless I move. That must really suck for you, I'm sorry. I could reccomend my chruch but I'm not sure if that would help. When I first went to my chruch I didn't want to until we got there and ever since I have been in love with it! It shouldn't really matter what church you go to though, as long as you are strong in your religion, that's all that matters!

Thats the problem with so many these days. People try and find a church to fit there life styles..
Where they should be living by bible standards and living by bible truths. Why don't you take it to prayer and you will have a very good chance at somone coming to knock at your door to help you better understand God's Word. Then, why not accept there offer for a free home bible study.

I'm sorry this happened. Ive heard of this type of thing before. Just look around for churches in your area, and try them out. Don't expect God to speak to you through the first one you go to. Different pastors have different ways of delivering their message.
