This is one of the basic concepts of Christianity and no one can understand or comprehend it.

The Holy Spirit is a person. He is the third part of the trinity. After receiving Christ as you personal savior, He comes to live in your heart. He illuminates your mind to the teaching of Scripture and He also convicts you of your sins. He also empowers you to put your spiritual gifts to use. After recieving the Holy Spirit, you have a whole new way of thinking about God and the Bible.
