hehehe

Technically, no man is free if he has laws to govern him.

I think of freedom as a circle. Sometimes the circle is bigger and sometimes it's smaller, but it's always there. True freedom is anarchy.

it's bs. someone has to be the one who killed the priest, and is strangling the king with the entrails. Even if it was a group of people, it will still lead to oligarchy and thus people will remain under the rule of others. But i get where he was going, I'm just being annoyingly literal

I love the saying, but the fact is it will never be true. The man that strangles the last King will then deem himself king! Viscous cycle!

sounds like something a man would say, think up , i would say "man will never be free till he recognizes woman as his equal"
men so get into that body functions thing, if they spent as much time as women, dealing with the result of entrails, they would never even speak of it again

Not too fond of it. Religion serves a good purpose. There have been good monarchs in the past. Not every society can be democratic. You have to meet people where they are.

...That will make man free, huh? Well, what do ya know!
...Guess what - you don't have to wait that long, observe:
...John 8:31-32 says,
...31 "So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
...32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."
...Jesus will set you free.

Now we have corporate entities to deal with as well. Given the time in which the quote was made, I would agree.

I think it is under the hardcore section if you haven't seen this site. The Ingersoll is great as is the Twain.

Sounds like some serious separation of church and state.
