Why do we believe in a book written by men. I know there's something bigger than us, but because a book saids that his name is Jesus, Hmmm...... I don't buy it.

The Bible was written by man but it was breathed through them by God. It's like this.... Ok say you asked Sally to get paper and a pen out so she can write a letter for you. And You told Sally to write, "Dear Fred, It's been a long time since I have seen you. Would you and your family like to come to my house for dinner on Saturday?" And you sign it with your name and she seals the letter and sends it to Fred. Ok... When Fred reads this letter do you think he's going to say oh I got a letter from Sally even though you signed it George or whatever your name is besides Sally? Of coarse not he's going to think it was from you. Well it's the same idea. God breathed through man what to document for the Bible we Know today. If you believe in God you have to believe also in Jesus cause they are one in the same. If you believe in Heaven and Hell then going to Heaven is all about believing. Believing in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and that he was Born from a Virgin Mary that he Was crucified for our sins that he rose and is coming again. Asking forgiveness of your sins and believing in God always. The Book of Matthew and the Book of Luke Shows the family tree from Adam to Jesus Christ.... Proving he was on earth and that he is who he is..... May God Bless you and that you find it in your heart the way to Believe and be Saved so you will spend eternity in Heaven and not lost in Hell....You should be thankful as well that God isn't here yet.... this shows he's gracious.... He's given the lost one more second to turn to him.... But he will not wait forever becuase God cannot lie and he says he will return.

There are lots of reasons why I believe the Bible, but the most compelling is that I have read it, studied it, tested it, and found it to be true. I truly believe that it is God word to us inspired into the hearts of men. How else did so many authors writing generations apart, coming from different walks of life, write such a unified message of sin and redemption? How were they able to write something that comes alive when I read it and teaches me about life and living today?
God is here right now. His existence is evident throughout all of Creation. He has revealed much of his nature and character through the Bible. That you choose to minimize the significance of that is truly sad.

God is here with us. That is the reason for Christmas.

The Bible wasn't just written by men it was written by men inspired by the Holy Ghost, and I just don't go by what I read or hear I go by what I feel and know he's real. Because he walks and talks with and to me on a daily basis.

Good...save your money and invest in something that will pay real dividends.
God is, in fact, here. but you have to look for Him. If you do so with an open heart, He will make Himself known to you in many ways...but he's unlikely to tap you on the shoulder and introduce himself.

well what religion are you (even though its none of my business) i believe the bible was written by men ..but based on gods & jesus opinions and thoughts..... god isnt here because he is like agaurdian angel to us he made jesus ..jesus sacrificed his life for us to live that is why he isnt here

I don't buy it either. Christianity has been taken for the most part as a pretext to enslave and eradicate other people.
