Did you do it on purpose? I don't think God is going to strike you for it. Traffic laws are there for OUR protection; prevents us from getting into accidents. If however you were in a hurry and you were careful I don't see it as a sin. I would not make a habit out of it because it could cause an accident.

The Bible tells us to obey the laws of the land. I believe that includes stopping at stop signs and following the speed limit. This is perhaps one of the most common areas where Christians "fudge" and compromise, even joking about their disobedience to the Word of God, but God doesn't take any sin lightly, and all sin is ultimately against God himself.
Blessings.

Perhaps it is in the sense that if you are disobedient to seemingly insignificant things, it may lead to becoming indifferent about truly more important things. For example, failing to stop at a stop sign is not too significant. But what if it were to lead to you doing it more often? And then to failing to stop at the stop light signal, then failing to go the proper direction down the street; then you feel you can drive your car on the sidewalks; then.... then...
The point I am trying to make is that if we rationalize the importance of being obedient to the smaller things, it can lead us to rationalizing away the importance of doing other necessary things as well.

No, it is not a sin. It is against the law and you could get a ticket or, worse be in an accident. If you harm someone by negigence, that is a sin.

Well, to me sin implies a moral issue. But, yes, it's dangerous and careless not to stop at stop signs. That's how people get injured and/or killed.

No. And to the guy up above me that answered about 'God said to follow laws of man too', have you noticed some laws of man in the World today?
So a Dictator tells his civillian that he must become a terrorist and strap a bomb to his chest to kill citizens of another country. The man doesnt do it, did he sin?

No. It is not a sin.
You are referring to a manmade law.
Jesus said, "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's."
You can extrapolate from there, that you should obey your local laws.
However, it is not a sin to break the law.
Now, you might want to consider your person integrity.
Would being true to yourself include honoring all your agreements, including the agreements you made when you were granted a Driver License?
For most of us, it would.

Wow Dan, if you seriously think the Creator of All That Exists is worked up about what you do at Stop Signs - you need to take a trip to Darfur.

Stop signs are put into place to protect life. What do you think?
Think just maybe God wants you to be careful not to harm others?
