It was a good system of controlling people and scare tactics for centuries but science is just proving religion wrong more so everyday. Ever hear of evolution? Astronomy? Physics? I'm not saying that there wasn't a creator, that I'll let fly, but the fairy tales that go along with god are pathetic. People still believe that Jesus was resurrected? That a burning bush told Moses not to kill his son? That Muslims believe eating pigs is going to send you to hell? I'm not even going to get into anything else because it's so unbelievable. What gives? Is it just a tradition nowadays?

and still go to heaven? I've read about drug users, murderers, child rapists who find Jesus in prison, and that they're all saved and are going to heaven. So does that mean someone can do whatever they want and still get to heaven as long as they find Jesus before they die?

Also, what do you have to do to be able to have sex and disresepct your parents and stay out late and drink and party and still get to heaven? Is accepting Jesus enough? Thanks

Most of those kids probably believed, so why? Even if it was an accident, your god still controls what happens right?

Those poor kids, and the families of the ones that have passed away. : (

This claim has been refuted by many leading journalist and researchers. In Africa alone, more Africans come to Christianity than to Islam 1.5 million in 1902 to 500 million now statistic from 2005 The islamic faith is dwindling. in africa. In The West many muslims feel it is safer to become an apostate in the West than in their own country as if they leave islam their lives are in danger. In islamic countries they can be killed.

i see love like the fire of my soul the undicslosed feeling of the centre of my soul is at peace the love of my heart is free and my voice is heard i see life as what and why it should be lived the way you want it to and not in the image of others and why it should not be judged by what you see on first impressions but to sit and listen to someone or just watch them is understanding you never know you might find your true love, i see acceptance of all kinds and forgivness of all i see life and love become one with the togetherness of 2, i see and feel what people see and understand how they feel, i speak less words but say more with my eyes i see more but speak less listening and understanding is more than words can describe, i see life from my eyes and love from my heart i see strentgh from my soul never judging never taking first impressions just looking and lsitening.

a christian, would he say this?

"He destroyed my son and took from my family Ron's future and life. And for that I'll HATE him always and find him despicable," Fred Goldman told ABC last week.

Or is this behavior excusable for christians?

I was raised catholic in Italy nonetheless, where you pretty much are surrounded by nothing but catholics. I used to go to confession, pray every night, undoubtely believe in God. Then one day, I became interested in Philosophy and after studying the subject, I started to think and think over and over, and my faith that seemed so strong, now has dissappeared. It's so sad, but seriously thinking, I am questioning life after death, even God. I feel sad about this, but perhaps it truly is just an artifact of people. The bible was written by humans, humans, that claim that God talked to them. If someone would claim such a thing nowadays, he would be put in the looney bin, but yet, we live after the bible. To add, the bible was written by men, why only men? Why is God not coming to talk to us anymore? The beauty of nature and everything around us, is no proof of the existence of God. Why do Christians necessarily have to be right? What about the Buddhists? Perhaps they have it all figured

I went to church for confession because I did something very horrible and it would make me feel better if I confess and pray. I was about to go in but my Sunday teacher pull me out and told me that I can’t confess my sins because I didn’t get my first communion. So, I can’t go in to confess because I didn’t get my first communion? So, god won’t forgive me?

Not based on what we are told by religious leader or your holy book, but looking around at the world, is God caring? playful? vengeful? apathetic? Does He appreciate a good joke? Does He get bored? Can He get sad or depressed?

Or is it useless to assign human emotions to God?

I dont go to church on Sundays (wasn't raised like that), although I did go to church every Sunday when I lived with my grandmother for a while. I do believe in God and Jesus, but I don't believe in everything in the bible, such as Adam and Eve. I do believe in evolution. Haven't been baptized. What religion would I be considered when I am filling out forms?

Are you a person who can accept others as they are? Or do you try to convince others there is a better way?

While being active in the ministry in the usual way,do you report your activity on Yahoo Answers at the end of each month? Do you get to do return visits? Do you limit your time on Y.A.? Do you answer what question you can,but limit what time you report? Do you neither limit your activity on Y.A. nor the time you report? Do you limit reported time and actual time spent on Y.A? Are you unable to do any other type of ministry? What good experiences do you have?
I've just started answering questions on Y.A. and while I don't have a problem with it,I do wonder where to draw the line. I don't answer questions that are obviously antagonistic. I don't pay attention to the questions and answers of anyone who has an axe to grind and apostates. I just feel that I could easily auxilliary pioneer (which I hope to do in the near future) on Y.A. but I don't want to limit myself in the pioneer work to the internet.
Any information you can supply, even if it doesn't quite fit my question is fine.
