Yes I absolutely agree with what you have to say. I believe that the reason people believe and follow is for the need for safety. With life being so unpredictable and constant changes taking place in our lives people need a constant. Instead of embracing change and acknowledging the cruel realities of life many people resort to this nonsense that you have briefly touched on. Perhaps if we all had a common enemy many things would be different in our world today.

the busht didn't tell Moses not to kill his son.
And as a matter of fact Evolution is a joke, there is no science to back it up. There is science to prove the flood though.
You can look this up, the top 3,000 feet pf Mt. Everst is sedimentary layer, and anyone who knows. The only way for sediment layer of rock to be deposited is by water or air. Mt. Everest is to high for air to carry rock deposits that high, so according to science the only other way for Mt. everest to get sedeming rock layer that high would be for water to deposit it there. Science also proves this, there are fish, and clam fossils on the tops of every mountain top in the world. Evolutionists dont' say that, they don't want you to know they are lying. Do your studying some more.

Yes it has, there is so much factual information out there regarding questionable scriptures in the bible, and those that were not put in the bible, I believe our religious society has become a radical misguided institution that sees wealth and power as it's God. I also believe religion has been put on notice, and science is and will prove a 2000 year old conspiracy, and out of this will come bloodshed because of mans inability to use common sense and reason, and it will also be mans failure to mankind not Gods.

No, religion will always be useful. Religion tells people (at least Christians) to love others, and this makes us help other people. I'm not sure about other religions, but science doesn't really prove Christianity wrong. Actually, science often proves religion right!

Unfortunately people take religion and its writings word for word instead of using them as guidelines on how to coexist with others.
But it the end, it gives the weak minded hope that there is something better after this life. We should just let them be, because the moment we start pushing our beliefs on to them, we become just as bad as them.

Not yet, there are still large numbers of people out there who have not grasped or are not capable of grasping the concept of rational thought. Religion is good for these people because it gives them rules to live by, with out religion some of these people would be out killing and stealing.

only with the aid of fact the Christians placed the Western worldwide right into a protracted darkish age of lack of information. So are the Muslims putting their very own worldwide right into a depressing age of religion and lack of information. as long as they make the comparable errors with the aid of fact the Christians, of putting faith in government and restricting human rights, they're doomed to the comparable history. Muslims are only Christians in blankets.

Yes, religion has outlived its usefullness, but it still exists because of the fear of uncertainity.
Religion provides answers, even if the answers are irrational and in constrast with reality.
