There is nothing called a soul-mate. Rather it is the perfect mutual understanding between two persons whom we consider as soul mates.

Yes there is such a thing as Soul Mates. I believe strongly in reincarnation and Past life - it is this venue that can produce Soul Mates. A connection in a Past life - some can be male souls or female souls - sometimes when we meet we have a sureness about us that we know this person from some time or other. As we talk or communicate we find out an area of compatibility or like ness or a remembrance of time and place. We come into an area of knowing - yes just knowing. Strange but true.

Yes. If you investigate reincarnation you will discover a lot about soul mates. Our souls carry on after death. We choose, with some help from other wiser souls, our next lives before we enter this plane again in physical form. Often in the bardo (the place where souls exist between lives), we make a pact with another soul to accomplish something together. This could be a working partnership, a family relationship or a marriage. The best marriages are ones that are based on pre-planning while in the spirit world. Not all are.

Yes I do believe that everyone has their true soul mate. Now some may not be lucky enough to find each other, others know of each other but due to circumstance may never be able to be together, and other are blessed to find one another. I found my soul mate. The way you know that they are your soul mate is 1) you complement each other (and I dont mean by words) 2) you complete each other and 3) you know that there is no possible way that you can ever live with out each other once you find him/her.

Yes.. in both a platonic love and a romantic love way.
My personal experience on this is with my best friend (platonic love, of course). We met several years ago and it was the only time in my life I felt as though I picked up a friendship from "before" and continued on from where we left off. I have had several friends in my life, but never once have I experienced anything like that before.
From that, and from my relationship with my best friend, I can give no other explanation than somewhere, somehow, we are soul mates.

I think that the Lord has many people for us on earth that we may choose from, hense free will, but He does have guidelines of who we should and should not be with. I think he might have a certian person out there designed for me, but I do not belive that if I do not have that specific person, I will not be fully happy, or blessed with who I have as my husband. I think that when I do meet a potential husband, I will leave the situation in Gods hands and hope that he guides me to either marry him or have me move on. This way my heart is protected, and I know I am doing what is right.
