What you may think as wise , may be becasue of your experinece based on your race, class, and gender. Wise is just a moral belief system used by people to put themselevs on a higher pedestal then others , whom they believe are inferior, The fact that a person may think in terms of wise and unwise speaks itself about the dichotomous world we live in. Life is not about dichotomy or duality of good and bad, positive and negative etc. To think oneself wise is to think someone lese unwise. to think oneself wise is to merely assume that the "other" is unwise, or unworthy.
Again as soon as one starts thinking in terms of wise , s/he creates an "other" who s/he sees as unwise. A person who believes s/he is wise thinks others are unwise...now that doesnt really make a person wise now does it . it makes the person judgemental nonetheless.
I dont think there is such a thing as wise...it all depends on a person's life experienece in terms of race, class and gender that shapes his/her experienecs and hopw s/he navigates the world .
One wise is not wiser then the other wise becasue each sees the world differenlty.
