Well, I'm probably closer to being called Ye of no faith because my faith is probably smaller than a mustard seed.

But how can a man with no faith ever develop faith in a god?

I mean, with the languages at the building of the Babel Tower. I know, he didn't want them to touch the sky where God is (but isn't he everywhere?). But what was wrong with that? Isn't it what we all want? Everyone working together on one big project? And in peace, too? Why did God put an end to this?

Salaam alaikum

What the difference between the abreviations "A.S" and "S.A.W"? I've noticed that the prophet's name is usually followed by "S.A.W" and the other prophets names are followed by "A.S".

I know what "A.S" means but I'm not so sure about "S.A.W".

Shukran, God bless

If you do have a faith is it important to join a church where you feel comfortable and can make friends and feel secure in the congregation and pastors. I like the look of a church i want to attend but i dont really know anyone who is going there. Is that important??

Similarly shouldnt people converting from Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism to Islam punished by death? If Muslims dont give non muslims equal rights in their countries should we "the free world" kick out the Muslims from our countries?

Does this mean the man is disqualified if he has been divorced and remarried? Or is it because of the polygamy that was acceptable to people back then? Can you give me some evidence either way? Thank you SO much!!!

MAT 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

LUK 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.

Please don't tell me it means wait for a god to fix it or anything like that. The person who said it knows I'm an atheist.

I just wondered what people think as to why Americans are largely a lot more religious than us brits? One example, is that some schools (in the US) are even trying to do away with teaching evolution in science, and teaching "creationism" instead (i.e.; God created the Earth). At the other end of the scale - in the UK - there was talk recently about introducing Atheism to the religious education syllabus. What do others think?
