I thought a cult was a small group that bands around a charismatic leader, many times promoting him or her to infallible or godlike status like David Koresh, Charles Manson, or Jim Jones.

I implore all people of good conscience to not partake in Thanksgiving day.Did you know the CHRISTIANS committed genocide against the Indians.The erroneous story that Christian authors have relayed about the events of thanksgiving are insidious to say the least. Christians slaughtered the Indians with the intent of mass genocide.Then your authors covered up this massacre with a tale of 'eating around the campfire'.YOU CHRISTIANS OWE THE AMERICAN INDIANS AN APOLOGY!!! How dare you insult their legacy by insinuating that you feasted with good intentions.You brought every imaginable disease to this new world.You enslaved their men,raped their women,and burned their babies;then you have the gall to celebrate this travesty of history.I implore all people to fight your relatives if they ask you to partake.Do not be afraid to use violence.Did not the Christians invent violence with their malevolent ways.We must stand up for truth.I ask you CHRISTIANS to answer my question with respect!

Ive been thinking. Why are some Christians so against homosexual marrage, if they also support remarriage? Remarriage is adultery. Not all people divorce with the Biblical exception (unfaithfulness), so in those cases, should we also ban re-marriage?

I divorced, and not for the Biblical reasons, and remarried just last month. Am I as "bad" as a homosexual?

We learn through our eyes our ears and by doing. Teaching well, also requires the use of all three. One of the messages of Jesus was He through the bankers and merchants out of the Temple. In this teaching He used all three teaching methods,, perhaps to emphasize this teaching ??? Do we give this teaching the attention it deserves or are we allowing them in, in many subtle ways.

If you think we might be,, tell me how you see it, or if you work at practicing this teaching how does your group do it.

What are they doing that is so bad? They aren't doing anything that harms anyone in any way. Are they bad just because the bible says so? If the bible said blacks (or any arbitrary group of people) were evil would you hate them too?

Hey, I need to know how i can get closer to God and not be ashamed of him. Im in a real hard sitution im the preachers daughter and i dont think im a Christian...I go to church all the time and i pray and read the Bible at night but i dont feel anything differnt in my heart. I need Jesus in my heart and i need to be able to feel him and i dont feel anything! And i have some bad habbits like cutting and cussing and ect..and until i break my habbits im not gonna clap at church or sing or anything i feel like im not worthy to be a Christian i feel like i belong hell! So i need some advice what can i do to feel better about myself and to get closer to God?

There are many christians that go to the lesbian and gay question stie and post questions of that is mostly offensive and could fuel some toward hate crimes against lesbian and gay, bisexual (in my opinion)

Does anyone stop to stop to consider god spoke of many things such as divorce being a sin, premartial sex, women wearing garments of different threads. Not touching a dead pigs skin.
In all honesty if someone explains every angle of this, I will stop being gay.

God does not hate and he or she will not get mad at us for sin when we are humans in a physical enviroment and have to learn. If it was not for sin we would not know God.

What if the Bible is actually just a test, a test of our intelligence and ability to exercise free will? The only way that everyone and not just some could take the Bible seriously is if it is a true are false test. I hear people talking all the time about how they “know” the will of God and what he wants, for all we know he is testing us with some of the absurd stuff that was put in the Bible and is seeing how gullible we are and seeing if we even deserve to live as a species. Maybe it’s us skeptics that are keeping him from getting fed up and frustrated and wiping us all out.
